Nope the front was perfect since it is the same basic setup as the f250. One thing though, you'll probably want to purchase extended sway bar end links. Some guys dont but the total change from stock is roughly 4 to 4.5" from this kit which is too much for stock end links. You can find some f250...
Its their f250 2.5". Make sure to buy an add a leaf as the excursion is much heavier in the rear and has the fuel tank farther aft.
Also be sure to buy the bar pins ahead of time. Theyre super cheap but the kit doesnt come with them :)
Well its not an update per say but I took it out to the beach this past week. Ill have plenty of photos going up in an article soon but here's a teaser
Thanks! Not yet. I think Im going to finish the exterior and sleep using the interior as is for a month or two until i finalize a plan. it still has tie downs and the fridge slide mounted so I can live without the cargo rack for now. Truthfully Im just making sure I dont run out of travel funds...
I can get anywhere from 16-20 depending on conditions so its still equal to or better than my 4Runner :)

You won't regret it. I love the ARB on the front and after hitting a deer with one on my previous truck I can say they do their job well. I wouldnt be surprised if this thing could fit all kinds of lights. Its big :)
A tune to pull some extra mpg out of it and thats it for now. If I actually...
Here ya go http://expeditionportal.com/overland-routes-alpine-loop/
Youll see my 4runner and XV-2 in there. We were leading the way to get photos the whole trip and never had a problem
Hey guys ive pulled two different trailers through the loop twice and it was EASY. There were no switch backs that caused us to cut corners. Just swing wide and be smart and the whole thing is a breeze.
If you're trying to fit four people inside the X I would recommend checking out a kids hammock solution that can be deployed easily. you and the wife can put your heads near the front seats and the kids can have hammocks over your feet near the back running side to side is theyre young enough.
Welcome to the dark side :)
Yes full sizes have a lot of advantages. We are looking to pick up an airstream sometime soon which is why weve left the 4runner behind. Great vehicle, just not enough towing cap
yeah skip the hitch rack at all costs. Find room in the interior / cut supplies / and if necessary run another box or something on the roof. How many kids will you be carrying?
