    LR4 fridge placement

You may find that leaving it running is better for the life of the fridge. That was the advice I was given.

LR3 coil spring conversion... Technical advice needed before I go insane

Well that's great that you don't have any messages...but I will say it makes me glad that I just flashed the unit, live with the red suspension light, but have my Scan Gauge plugged in all the time (and can swap in the IID as desired, with no issues)

I actually disagree completely on the locker point. What nobody wants to put into context here is if you are some kind of incredibly difficult trail where a locker vice unlocked rear dif is going to make a significant difference you got a bunch of other variables to consider. -Start with the...

LR3 coil spring conversion... Technical advice needed before I go insane

Nope, just ran the rods and left it all connected. I know they say disconnect but I didn't bother (& at the time they didn't say it). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Apologies; so for the first year or so I did run lift rods....I totally forgot that.

My $.02; don't mind the locker's convo as much as some would have it play out. This isn't a jeep.

So I would redo all the connections to be sure, and based off the codes it doesn't appear that the flash is taking. Or rather, it isn't holding. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

LR3 coil spring conversion... Technical advice needed before I go insane

Scott- That's good news. As you are seeing here, and know from your time with these, it's a bit like a windows laptop half the time. Shut it down, restart, hard re-start, etc. I think I ended up flashing it twice before it fully 'took' and then since then I haven't touched it for fear of...

LR3 coil spring conversion... Technical advice needed before I go insane

When I hardwired mine it never worked properly. When I flashed it, it worked fine with nothing but the red suspension light. GAP works fine, as does scan gauge, in that configuration. Truck looks good. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The usual, maint history. Above 100k it likely has had the appropriate things done. You might find one that somehow still has the original compressor (unlikely) or the plastic coolant tee, if so that will need to get addressed. Try to ascertain the last time the control arms were changed...

Assuming-or rather, confirming/proofing on your own according, good maintenance of an LR3 100k is only a benchmark to do certain things and not illustrative of a turning point. Moreover, given some known issues with LR4s apples to apples the LR3 and the associated 4.4 still may fall out as a...

    LR4 fridge placement

So I ran a fridge for years off a single battery, just being mindful that if it was to be parked for a protracted period I'd shut it down (not optimal, as it's better running for the life of the unit). Then with a dual battery that mitigation became less necessary-and added in a second...

    LR4 fridge placement

That is definitely an alternate view-based off experience though. I guess I never spend too much time worrying about power for a good fridge-and the time I do spend only increases the resiliency of the vehicle's electrical system. I'd also say the fridge is way more than a car camping mod; we...

    LR4 fridge placement

Aside from the spare tire access issue (the swing out solves that, but then detracts from utilizing the back easily. At least that has been my experience, and why I removed it)..where do people put things like their clothes in these configurations?

But before I refresh the coils to get after some Heavy HD in the back...routine issues. I hate roofing nails. (& living in townhouses where folks get their roofs redone throughout the summer so you end up not knowing even how long you had them) Ended up as copilot for some backroad...

LR3 coil spring conversion... Technical advice needed before I go insane

Scott- If you hit a tip over point reach out to Dobinsons USA. The timeframe is longer than you want to wait but they have shocks that go with their coils, I didn't ask about details bc I was/am content with the AB setup in terms of dampening. JB switched to coils on Clifford some time ago...

Info I have is what is either posted, or in the hyperlinks to the specs. Believe the spec sheet has the uncompressed length in it if you click on the link and scroll to the bottom. R- Ray Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

LR3 coil spring conversion... Technical advice needed before I go insane

Scott I'm a Marine, so I'm kinda dumb...but what, exactly, is your question? (I know we've talked about a fair amount of this over FB messenger). Are you looking for spring rates? If so, all that is on this forum in a couple of places, but to be accurate (there was a typo in a previous post if...
