Can't help but to post another shot, this time from Twin Mountain off-road as we play with GMRS to find dead spots on the property given the topography. A light intermittent snow, cold wind, and heated seats....

I'm liking this more and more, the packout for thanksgiving illustrating the why. I'd claim it's bc I'm traveling w/3 women, but the right side is tools, recovery gear...& long guns.

Ian-
~33" under light load w/minimal manipulation is height from cargo deck to bottom of netting. I had thought about running a 1" webbing strap along the center to augment the edges but it seems unnecessary for my purposes.
To be honest the Mantec is a great solution for some applications...
I'm sure we can work something out, when I was texting with my buddy in WV about it I sent him some of these pics and he said "while you're bending, make another set" so I know I'll be doing it at least one more time. I have some ideas for improvements already that will require a trip to a...
Minor updates & teasers
A few minor updates to keep myself on task (I keep track of what I've posted with a folder of pics, the folder is getting full which means I need to do some updates!)
First thing; the current iteration of my tire cover is 'done.' I'm somewhat satisfied with it, the...
The softer option; BROG LC attic modified for the LR3 cargo area
Beta testing will be underway for thanksgiving :)
The cliff notes thus far:
-Sourced BROG attic, the usual very fast customer service & shipping had the well crafted VA made item in hand in short order.
-School got in the way...
I just used clear silicone bc that's what I had on hand, holds up fine and if I ever pulled all the stuff off is easy to remove.

Order placed with BROG this am, hopefully I'll have it in hand within the week (they tend to ship fast, and now I'm back in VA so fingers are crossed I'll have it by the time Thanksgiving rolls around). I'll document what I come up with and post back here and my thread too.

Fairly common both in terms of the hitch and any kind of rear tire carrier; what I did was get bicycle tire patches to cover the inboard sensors (both) but left the outboards in play, you get less depth to be sure so don't floor it backwards but you still retain some function.

I think it would hang off the handles great, as depicted in Harbinger's photos. For me-even though we're all short-I'd prefer to keep the headroom and thus really want to find a way to keep it in the rear cargo area vice the straddling the 2nd and 3rd row. Here's a few shots to illustrate...
Thanks for the pics, it def helps. I like the idea of using it in the third row-have a notion to use the grab handles back there to mount aluminum or steel flat runners of of a sort along that roof's recess to be able to hang it up back there. At $100 it may be worth trying, worst case it ends...
No blasting, it is always good to cross pollinate!
This is somewhat surprising and tends to lend to the idea that perhaps the guy couldn't drive that platform-LR3's air suspension has decent articulation all things considered, and with cross linking of the air suspension you get the most out...
