I got mine at pleasureboatmarine.com but I'd find another place. They didn't ship it for two full weeks. It took a follow up call to finally get it shipped. Its a Fynspray WS-67 if you're interested. I'm very pleased with the quality of it.
Anyone have a Flippac rain fly they want to sell? We've tried a few times with FRP products and they have never had them in stock. Unfortunately, due to their 'legendary' customer service they can never seem to call me when they do come in. They are out now and suggested I call back next week...
MWC Jerry Can Faucet
A small nicety for the camp kitchen. I copied this from someone else but I can't find the original write up to thank him. You drill out the pour spout on a Scepter water can and install a Fynspray faucet with a manual pump. The spout turns up for storage. I still need to...
Had my new custom rocksliders welded on today. I still need to hit them with a rattle can of bedliner but it's threatening rain so that will have to wait. I'm very pleased with how they turned out. :wings:
UPDATE: I got some of those heavy white papers Costco uses to separate stacks of paper...
Thanks. I just found out the ARB 50 on the way to my house has one built in. Very comforting. I'll test it out to see how the truck does at the three levels, 14.8. 14.4, and 10.1.
I think I figured out the problem. Basically, there is no need for what I'm looking for normally because of you have a looped end to your cable, you just connect it directly, without another connector. I have an OEM fuse block at the end of the battery cable so when I switched batteries, it...
Apparently I'm looking for something that may not exist. I've attached it temporarily with the connector pictured with one of the two bolts through the end of the wire. It looks odd but gets the job done. If I can't find one, I guess I'll have to find someone to do some minor mod work.
Nope, I actually need what is pictured in my first post, just with a single bolt instead of the dual clamping bolts. I've searched all over. I shouldn't be this difficult.
I need to find a couple of side mount battery terminals. The only ones I've found are a clamping style like shown below. I need two side mount terminals but with a single bolt in the middle rather than the clamp. My cables already have ends on them.
Thanks for all the advice. I stuffed a Die Hard Platinum Marine Group 31 battery under the hood in place of the stocker. I'll test it with the fridge load overnight in a week or so. If it still starts the truck, it should last me a few months until I get a second one.
Stuffed a Die Hard Platinum Marine Group 31 battery under the hood. It'll have to do until I get a second one for the bed and a dual battery setup. I pulled out the stock battery tray, measured everything up, bought a bigger tray and a bunch of bolts to mount it. Then after messing around with...
As I continue my build up of my Titan, I plan on getting an ARB 50 fridge before I have the dual battery system. I'm trying to figure out the best way to power the fridge until I have the second battery. When we camp, we generally drive every day so my truck battery should be able to recharge on...
I was lucky enough to find a Campmate Kitchen a while back just after they discontinued them. They are great but a bit heavy. The weight isn't all that bad, except for the lack of handles. It has ridges to carry it but all the weight of a full box on the fingertips is a bit painful if carrying...
Just getting started with some free scrap wood we literally had laying in the back yard. Some of it was pretty rough but it was free! Got the front truck box built over about 8-10 hours. Next will be a false floor to eliminate the wheel well humps and allow me to put in the slide(s). I may end...
Yeah, we're going with the cry once theme and going to drop the $ on one in the future. It's just a question of which fridge, which dual battery setup, and which to buy first. They basically are all interdependent at this point. How do I know where to start? It's basically the cost of two fridge...
What are the measurements on the stove/fridge slide? I've got a tight area, about 25" deep, between my wheel well and tailgate on my truck. I'd rather not build up the floor if I don't have to.
Well this thread inspired me to stop typing and get off the couch. I have some old lumber from an old project so I built the frame of a box/bed for the front part of my truck bed. :box: It fits perfectly between the bed rails and between it and the Flippac base, it will make a perfect 24" x 72"...
A shell model FWC is pretty similar to what you're suggesting. It's not a topper but it is a DIY FWC and it's not a whole lot more $ than a Flippac. It is definitely a middle ground option.
I've been tempted to do a build up similar to TacoDoc. I'll being doing a minor build to add convenience and then will need to figure out if I'm going to go all the way with power in the bed or put that money towards the FWC. AT's combo fridge/stove slide has piqued my interest. I'd need to...
