Series 3 - How much work to fix?

The frame is most likely to be like the rear portion, but see if the seller will let you bang on it with a hammer. Its the only real way to know how bad it is. If he/she won't let you bang on it, walk away. I think the price might be a little high with the rust, HOWEVER, you may not need to...

Putting the leaf springs back in Land Rover Here are a couple of the series 2A that I have been taking care of for the last 2 years. It is not mine, but occupies my driveway, garage, and trips. You could say that I am a foster parent. It allows me much needed time to work on my 2dr RRC. :)

    Question about RR axles

Viggen, You don't need 4" to fit those tires. 3" w/o trimming. 2" with just a trim at the front and rear of the arches. Really dude, for what you describe, sliders and a gas tank guard would give you more bang for your buck. when you get into 4" lifts, there is a LOT of stuff to start...

    Question about RR axles

    Import Question

Don't forget, that this does not necessarily mean you will be able to register the vehicle in your state. Emissions testing is a state by state basis. a 200tdi may pass in Utah but not Colorado. Be knowledgeable about your states criteria, for the year of your vehicle.

1964 Land Rover 109 Station Wagon

not that bad Stephanie, don't sell yourself short. Once the major issues are taken care of, and it sounds like this one has, they are good reliable classic cars. There are many parts suppliers and the simplicity of them makes them fairly user serviceable. For a classic car, they can be...
