The 8% reduction in high range is an unexpected bonus. That should greatly assist 1st gear, high-range starts and assist with the larger diameter tires as well.

The cost is certainly a valid consideration. It is hard to allocate spare cash to training, when you could buy a nice gun (or two) for the same investment. In the end, it really helped me realize the critical consideration of my proficiency.

I also installed an Autohome Columbus RTT to do a little testing and see how the G handles the roof load. So far, with the smaller/wider tires, the load is manageable, but I do not plan to keep the tent up there full time.
