Toyo R/T's. I have had 3 sets of the R/T's so far (on two different rubicons and now my PW) and they have been great tires. Next set of tires will most likely be the R/T trails in 285/75-17.. I am surprised that your at3's are not a bit better. I would have been fine with my Toyos on my trip...
Only vehicles I saw moving were gas and diesel powered vehicles. I hated being out there but when you get the call and you need to be somewhere with little notice gas is king
Just drove through a nasty storm in south dakota (montana to southern minnesota) conditions were horrible. Lost count of vehicles of all types in the ditch and duratracs did pretty good.
unless you need a D rated tire the 285/75-17 is going to be almost as narrow and a bit taller. I ran the at3 in 35x11.5-17 and they were shorter than my Toyo 35/12.5-17 RT's. I think the at3 as a family might run a bit smaller ala ko2's. I did have a set of the Ko2 in 34x10.5-17's and they...
I have had too many tires. I have had the ko2, at3w, at3 among many others and those three are all very similar I liked all 3. currently I am running duratracs (low on my list of favs) and Toyo RT's very high on my list of favs. I live in Montana and we have a lot of winter here.

I have been using them for the last 2 years. I am 5'9" 64yoa and my wife is 5'2" 60yoa and they work great. after a few months I asked my wife if she wanted me to go back to the oem steps and she said nope she was fine with the 75a steps. they are tougher than people think or give them credit...
probably more reliable as well. I waited 9 weeks for the dealer to get in a front driveshaft and rear pinion seal...they replaced a front seat cover as well.
We are not tall I am 5'9" and wife 5'3" and the vee just kills the actual room you have. I suppose if it were on an 8' bed it would help but my 6.5" bed just was not convenient for getting up in the middle of the night without the other person having to get up as well. On a GFC I thing the...
