this is my buddy's 2022 F250 with 7.3 gasser. I did not take a photo but another buddy just bought a trailboss chev with the 6.2L and his payload is 1500 and change. It was just slightly less than my PW. He said he is getting good mpg.
well if you are average size and your wife is average size and your dog is a big dog you can be 450lbs right there and if you have a topper and a cooler full of beer and a couple of bikes and a cook stove, 5 gallons of water, well it all ads up way fast.
My buddy has a new Raptor and it is way nice. It was about $30,000 more than I paid for my PW new. I actually looked for a Raptor before getting my PW and could not find one that was a base model and every dealer was adding at least a $5000 markup and that was prior to the covid tax, so they...
generally yes on the payload and strength. Room is the same for the most part. Prices are not all that much different. probably get a bit better mpg with a 1/2 ton as they are lighter and in the RAM and Fords case the straight axle might not ride as nice as a 1/2 ton altho my 2020 PW rides...
I have an ARB 50 and it will run off starter battery for a couple of days with no issues and now I run it off a jackery 1000 and it will run for 4 days with no charging.
Vr series are great. There really is no weight difference between an vr8s and vr10s. I tan a vr10s on stock bumper for quite a while. It cuts down on weight and saves money.rockhard4x4 winch plate works great. There are no sensors in the stock bumper as was said the sensor is in the center shift...
1 ton and diesel...better mpg, more power and you can tap in and run a diesel heater...one thing even a pop up camper ends up weighing more than people realize by the time you have it ready to go. If going with gas get a ford with 7.3L. with a family you are going to want a Grandby not a hawk...
looks good. I think white is the best PW color by far. I personally would not under coat it, unless you are talking about a lanolin based under coating. Also thuren told me their shocks will not work without their coils. I went back and forth with them and they flat said they will not work...
been a fun run but all things must come to an end....I guess enjoying a cold hefeweizen was the final straw ....kind of like I was allowed one phone call....
I will say my 2020 PW gets way better mpg then it should. I am at 21500 miles and just keeps getting better. The ride and comfort is outstanding. Looks..well it's a ram so it's ugly as sin. I have also had more issues with this vehicle than any vehicle I have ever owned and in fact I have owned...
