I personally kinda hate studs as they tear up the roads and people out here in the NW have some obsession with them. Nothing like hearing them drive by you in the city, in August, even though they aren’t legal after April...
I was inspired by Bill Fischer’s Chinook ski adventures. 10k winter...
Yep, thats what I was getting at. I saw something online about the lap belts there being bolted to a steel frame, so maybe they’re at least a little better than the average RV lap belts. Ok for little car seats but not bigger kids.
Yukon 3rd row is two pieces. 48” wide total and 23” deep...
Most RVs of this size are setup for a solo person or a couple. Hard finding family friendly rear seats that are safe. Some have seatbelts, but they’re just lap belts bolted to a box or maybe the floor...
Best bet for shoulder belts would likely involve bolting in factory Sprinter or Ford...
Kinda depends on your box manufacturer, many leave a blank spot in the framing for an optional pass. window. Others just cut out what’s needed and weld/bolt in more framing as needed. Search the forum for more details.
Hard to beat the price. If you install it and don’t like it, you’ll already have your roof cut for the future extra-tall top. Armchair quarterback says DO IT!
Great seeing allllll that fiberglass work pay off! The angled concourse windows are cool and all, but not too practical. That tilt open feature is nice. I need to start dropping by the local ikea as-is more often.
^this. I picked up a Lewmar deck hatch awhile back for an RV project. Super sturdy, 1/2” polycarbonate hatch that opens fully. They come in a lot of sizes.
That seems like a great deal. Too great? Kinda weird description and odometer is in kilometers? Seller has seemingly decent feedback so it’s probably legit?
