I just looked in the factory ford warranty book and this is what it says. With the tune in the above video I would be leery to say the least.
• the installation or use of a non-Ford Motor Company part or software (other than a certified emissions part or software) or any part or software (Ford...
that is totally different than the tuner in the above video. Big difference between a Ford performance tune installed by a ford dealer vs aftermarket that you install yourself.
so I just ask my buddy who has been a tech in a large ford dealership for close to 40 years and he said they generally can tell if they scan it with IDS and while it won't automatically void the warranty you will have problems if the engine blows up or have other engine problems.
gotta wonder. they say won't effect the warranty. I don't believe it. I would bet it leaves a footprint in the ecm. I know almost every oem manufacturer can/may void engine and tranny warranty if tuners are used.
I have had a 2013 sport, 2014 and 2016 rubicon and now a 2018 rubicon recon all the rubicons were sitting on the lot with autos an 4.10's. sounds like there is as many problems with 17 and 18's as there were with any other years. on another forum a new 2018 just had the same oil filter cooler...
Yes CL. I found I really never needed them. Drug them to Moab couple of times and California twice and locally in the snow and just never needed them. Any of your cronies looking for an off road tent camper? I have one listed here expedition portal in the classifieds. To cold yet to advertise...
brute force and wheel spin often results in breakage. proper lines and and proper tire inflation ie air down will do wonders getting over obstacles and even deep snow.
I do a lot of offroading and I would do it in the rear. I have a rubicon (3rd one) and it is rare I lock the front. Trails like the rubicon trail can be done with only a rear locker and having the front locked makes it harder to steer. I have buddies that have only rear lockers and they do fine.
I want a set to mount on my stock rims just for road tripping in the winter time.. I will say i have had several pairs of ST maxx's including my latest 315/70-17's and they do great in deep snow and snow covered ice but kind of want a narrower set to run in winter to keep all the crap off the...

the at3w is snowflake rated. We have gotten dumped on here and my buddy said they have done great. I measured them and they are a bit over 32" when mounted on the vehicle. unmounted they are really close to 33".
this makes the best camping coffee. A little more work but I like being up early making my wife that first cup of coffee. I figure she makes me coffee and breakfast at home I can do it when camping.
