Ford equates an hour of idling to 25 miles of engine wear. Use that to ballpark the overall use. If it “only” has 50k miles on the odometer, but has 10k hours on the hour meter, realize that’s more like 250k miles total on it.
It’s hard to tell its history, but a decent guess of use is to...
Yeah, that's great of him to say "I don't offer a warranty but I do offer a guarantee." That plus the pile of receipts... That's what I really like to see with any used vehicle.
Nice work freeing up those back doors. I like the contractor rack safari rack build. I had a pair of those as a roof rack on my land cruiser for years. beefy.
And yeah, spray foam should only be available to people who pass a basic knowledge test... I'm dealing with removing it from my RV...
$300 seems fair for a local pickup. That would be a nice upgrade for a 2WD van with rusty door bottoms and such. Guessing shipping would be a bit much.
I don't think I've seen a dually Chevy Express passenger van before?
Chevy express, 15 passenger dually. - $7500
It runs and drives like new. It's been a church van it's all life. 115k miles 15 passenger..made special for church to care people.dually tires. And All 6 new all terrain tires put...
Looking sharp. Is there any market on CL or similar for the pieces you took off? Not sure if anyone really wants them?
This van would look much better with your treatment. It's got the black plastic front bumper already. The high roof is nice on yours!
Search around on here, there are weld-on options. Cutaways (ambo van base) aren’t rated for towing, so no published specs. Plenty of e450 hitches out there.
Patoz, I’ve got a bunch of their speedbraces that were leftover from an office remodel. I plan on using some in my RV build to support and reinforce dividers and cabinetry. They’re super useful in my garage for work surfaces with storage underneath.
Definitely a cool company with a lot of...
Great work! Have you checked out Fastcap products? We used to use some of them in the cabinet shop. You can get a variety that’s basically a white PVC dot sticker to hide those screw holes.

I always liked these buses built on vans with the dual rear doors. Super versatile for hauling anything.

I’d do a little inspection to make sure all’s well, and then keep it. Buy a tiny, cheap USB endoscope and feed it through any kind of hole/body plug to check for rust. That insulation job puts you ahead in the game!
Wow. That’s pretty good MPG for that speed.
The v10 drives nice. I’m enjoying it over the 7.3 in my old ambo since it’s quieter and less stinky. Not towing anything so that’s not a concern.
