anything can be swapped but the 4 to 5 speed, so, considering how old all of them are, 03 and up is what you want. there really is NOOOOOOO point in getting a 4 for the price of a 5. none.
Maybe you're confusing the affect of the track and frame rails. Take an old Gwagon. its a coil spring, but you'll get plenty of interference with 35" and up tires without spacers, due to the location of the suspension components and frame. they are close to the axle ball joints due to the narrow...
in the end, if you think you NEED a 1600 pound payload (total with the 4 passengers) open box, you really dont actually need an open box.
