Maybe reality is starting to set in. StoryTeller just sent out an email with at least a little discount. Of course, they raised prices by 11% last fall, so this doesn't take it all back.
For a limited time – April 20 - May 20 only – we’re thrilled to be able to offer these manufacturer rebates...
These are on my short list of vehicles that might suit my needs. The one on RVTrader in Texas looks new also with almost no miles vs 22,000 on this one. I kind of wish the rear end was square to make it easier to put bicycles on the back of it though. Heck, maybe they could do that if you asked.
This is a great "video" of a trip the young Toby Fleming made 60 years ago. Quite an adventure. He did a great job turning still pictures into a good video with interesting commentary.
His comment about the video.
This "video" documents a journey made across Africa and the Sahara Desert in...
Can't wait to see the price on that. Ha:) We have seen a couple of the Hummer EVs on the road and they are quite impressive. Plugging it in might be like Clark in Christmas vacation turning on the lights and watch the nuke power plant go dark.
I think EarthCruiser also has an owners only forum site. Heck, Porsche Club of America requires owning a Porsche also to join their club. Seems like they could make them read only anyhow for non owners. If they really are providing good support it might encourage people to buy the vehicles.
It seems like for $5,000 or so you should be able to take the vehicle somewhere and have these seats installed professionally including all wiring, seatbelts, swivel bases in a van, etc. Just my thought.
I hadn't really thought about what the payments would be if a person was buying a new van. This info from StoryTeller is a bit scary. What will the van be worth after 20 years on the road.
What's my cost per month?

RVTrader has several 2022 new Revels for less than $150 and a few 2023 also for just under $150.

If they can do this for less than $300,000 they might have a winning plan. If they use Elkhart quality (whatever that entails) with no slide outs there is no reason they couldn't do this quite inexpensively.

That's the way things are right now. We bought our SMB E350 poptop, etc. for $77,000 new in 2008. I suspect it would list for about that same price today. Of course a new one would be $200,000.
Looks very interesting, but if I can afford $350,000 plus, I can also afford the fuel for the F350. Why can't someone do this on the correct chassis? I am sure I have 500 pounds of bikes, climbing gear, books, etc. in my rig now. Something like this or the Truckhouse on an F350 and I would...
