Supertramp Flagship LT pop-up slide-in pickup camper

OK, I have no idea what I am talking about, but anyhow: Since this is a "slide in camper", what about removing the camper from the truck and putting them both in the same 40'x8'x8' container? It would be a hassle, but if you are only doing it once or twice per year, maybe not that bad. You...

    EarthCruiser is closing!?!?!

How many humans does it take to keep the humanoids operating, or will there be humanoids that also repair and build the humanoids? It will be interesting for sure.

    EarthCruiser is closing!?!?!

The fiberglass body on the 27North RexRover was imported from South Korea I believe, but I think they have had problems with getting them to the US. I can't verify this, but it's what I heard.

    New Supertramp Hardtop Camper

Maybe they are just trying to keep the weight and price down. Does seem like there is room for more storage options if they decide to add them. Or perhaps they just like the open feel.

    New Supertramp Hardtop Camper

I think it may do OK. If you get one of the Bowen custom utility beds and all the camper options, power, etc. you have 80% of the functions of the Megatron/Truckhouse rigs for less than half the money.

    EarthCruiser is closing!?!?!

Maybe, but a fair % of our cars and trucks are at least partially built in Mexico now, so why not RVs also? Many of the high dollar expedition vehicles are made in low wage countries also.

    EarthCruiser is closing!?!?!

Maybe coming back? Saw an interesting post on Instagram a couple days ago. Greetings All, It's been a while and I am dreadfully sorry for the lack of communication. Thank you all for your kind words and continued support of the EarthCruiser and the people that make it possible. For EarthCruiser...

Supertramp Flagship HT Hard-sided Slide-in Pickup Camper

If they know what they are doing, leaking shouldn't be a problem. Boat builders have all kinds of seams to deal with.

SOLD! | Roamy the Van by Rossmönster - $175k MINT

I have wondered about that on the sprinters with oversized tires. We did a test drive on a StoryTeller Beast Mode with big tires and it seemed pretty wimpy getting up to interstate speed.

    Earthroamer sell off?

Seems like a lot, but they have probably made 400 or more vehicles over the years, so seeing maybe even 10% of them for sale per year wouldn't be a shock. And, it's expensive enough that they may not sell right away. Kind of like a house, if you price it near the top of the value range, it takes...

    New Four Wheel camper product

Well, disregard everything I posted below here. The company replied back that they don't currently have an external electric lift system and no plans for one. They were having some problems with it and also supply chain issues for parts. When I went to their website this weekend, it showed a...

New kid on the block! AWD Transit with composite camper AEONrv

Hadn't thought about that, but found a video where they ground off the stop on the knock block. Looks like my fork would still hit the frame for sure one direction, but maybe not the other way. Also, it looks like a pretty straight fork and not sure how much I would gain if I was able to flip it...

New kid on the block! AWD Transit with composite camper AEONrv

My Trek has a bump stop that won't let you rotate the bars 180 degrees. Grrrr

New kid on the block! AWD Transit with composite camper AEONrv

I thought that would work also, but I took my newer 29" Large Trek MTB with 30" wide bars down to my Ford dealer with the front wheel removed and couldn't fit the bike in the back seat. It was about 1 or 2 inches too long to get the doors closed. If I wanted to remove the rear wheel also, no...

New kid on the block! AWD Transit with composite camper AEONrv

MTB is usually referring to mountain bike (bicycle) and some of them are expensive and somewhat large. Easy to spend $5,000 plus on a carbon MTB, so it's nice to keep them out of sight and out of mind.

How much does a Sportsmobile 4x4 REALLY cost?

I won't include my complete spreadsheet, but the total numbers aren't much different. Ours is a 2008 that we bought new and has just under 200,000 miles. I also use it as a daily driver around town half the time. Only had to replace the radiator once so far, and somehow the windshield is...

Four Wheel Camper - A Review

I was watching a YouTube video the other day and it sounded like FWC is not offering the electric lift system and is doing a recall on rigs that have this feature. Anyone else heard anything about this?

Nomad Euphoria RV - Interesting option

FWIW they have a new video out on YouTube. Also, they have mentioned possibly doing one on the E350 chassis with a U-Joint 4x4 conversion.

Megatron - New turnkey expedition vehicle from Supertramp, Elevation Off Grid (EOG) and Liquid Spring

I did see a used Hilt on RV Trader so they must have sold some of them. https://www.rvtrader.com/listing/2024-Storyteller+Overland-GXV+HILT-5033801781#sid=518510
