If it is for visibility I would say no. If you are going to use a boot between the two for heat or AC maybe. Windows = condensation and restrict your usable space in your buildout.

I've been curious about the skin to extrusion bond from the start. Looks like a few rivets but I wonder about thermocycling and oil canning putting stress on the bond. How many cross members are there supporting the roof skin?
What is the thickness on the NL glass layup? Is it a woven matrix? I had to to tear into my Northern Lite light a little bit to repair some rot in the floor and a crack on the shell at the bottom of the door but it was over 15 years ago and I don't remember.
Adding a little more volume shouldn't double the weight. I think they must be cramming in a bunch of extra features. Either way I bet it is an awesome camper for a 3/4 ton and probably works on a half ton but is pushing it.

An added challenge with spacekaps is the curvature of the outer shell exceeds window manufactures allowable specs. On the newer diablos there is a small area on each side where they install their windows that kind of works.

When you mention propane condensation you are probably referring to a catalytic style heater vs a furnace with heat exchanger that expels combustion gases out via an exhaust pipe or chimney. This conversation has been referring to the furnace style.
