I like simple mods too - but sometimes velocity can slow due to too-large of pipe (no, that's NOT 'what SHE said'). The Expy guys do that mod sometimes, too.

Are you worried at all about slowing down the air into the engine? Generally I think the engine will suck in as much as it can/wants despite what shapes are present.
