There is no doubt the light output is top notch, but I don't know how anyone in their right mind can justify $1500 for the light you mentioned.

FWIW, the 40's are a tiny bit deeper than the hella 500's, and the HID conversion has been done on the 500's.

In the grand scheme of things, I'm sure spending time with his 1 yr old is more important to him than the truck. It's there if he needs it. Considering what they are worth these days, he might as well just hold on to it.

I'm sure I could grab it, should I so choose. Right now I have a civic and a 4Runner, so there would be a space issue. It would be a fun project, but I'd rather put the money somewhere else.

I think he has the jump seats for the back if that's what you mean.

It's a 94 (I believe), 5 speed. It has some sort of roof rack on it, but it had to be removed to fit it in the garage.
