Awning installed (had to go to every hardware store in a 20 mile radius to find 4 that's right 4 8mm x 1.25 thread pitch nylon lock nuts) so what should have taken 45mim to an hour took all day [emoji53]
Sent by magic, I mean come on really, pictures through thin air, MAGIC!!!
minor update
ARB awning arrived w/ the extra room, I was so excited until I found out how ridiculously expensive simple metal machining is!! ( $45 a bracket to have 3" wide by 5"long/tall L brackets cut and drilled with 6 holes drilled in each one, bare metal not even painted or powder coated)...
Cluster swap???***Edited
I have started looking at the Cruise Control retrofit and looking at my instrument cluster I do not see dash lights to acknowledge CC, does this mean I need to swap clusters too? Also my current cluster does not have a tachometer, if I can keep my current cluster I...
At the moment I am just getting the 3 years of Utah dust out of it and trying to clean it up the best I can so we can use it. Hoping that by adding a mattress, bedding and camping gear in it as is will at least get us using it to see how to configure, once it is taken apart back down to the bare...
It was in GWS of all places, the PO is a desert rat so the van has spent the majority of it's time here or the DSW!! Good to know, I really need to sort out the insulation but will probably tackle it this winter as I just want to use it until the snow flies. If I take it apart now there is a...
Well done sir!! Love the split color throwback style with modern color interpretations :sombrero: Need to come see the new pad and work space, bring my new project up and pick your brain over some coffee:coffeedrink::coffeedrink:
Thanks fellas!!
Brad; I have only driven it once, about 50 miles home and I know that for me personally, every noise in a new vehicle seems amplified. I plan on having my buddy drive me around in different conditions/terrain so I can make a check list of different noises, rattles, hums etc
DZL...
I am hoping that I can buy a whole new steering wheel that has the cruise and stereo controls, if not just cruise is fine. Does anyone know how to cross reference which F-250/350 parts might also work? I'd like to go the salvage yard if possible, not sure if they sell steering wheels and if so...

It is official Krishna is in the driveway!! I need advice on quieting down the interior, (it is imperative that I address this before the wife gets back home at the end of the month, she will not be pleased if I leave it as is) it has...
Thanks, I love the color too, it's totally different than what I have seen but not too outrageous. The tires are only 33's so I am not sure what he did but the slider opens all the way. Picking it up at 7pm tonigh :wings: :wings: :smiley_drive:
Thank you guys, I was hoping that I could get away without having to add on another column tree. I will start looking for the parts I need :smiley_drive:
I don't want to jink myself but feel pretty comfortable introducing my entrance back to #vanlife. VanKrishna is an ex oxygen supply company van bought by the current owner and slowly and lovingly modded over the last three years. It is an 5.4 Triton E350 EB Quigley with one of Ramsey's first RIP...
Is it possible to add a steering wheel with cruise control to an E350 that did not originally come with it? Or do I have to try and find an aftermarket kit?
RHD Mitsubishi Delica
I am not affiliated with this seller but I did have a chance to drive this van and it is awesome. I would have bought it but it is just a tad to small for my needed use!! Located in Golden Colorado with a CO title ready to go. The seller seemed to be spot on and I got a...
My solution turned out to be "good from afar, but far from good" however, $11 versus $200 I'll deal with it. 1 can self etching primer and one can spray on bed liner from HD a few hours of prep and spray/drying time and I can live with it. The last couple pics illustrate the depth of disparity...
