I contacted them by Email. I did ask about both sensors and camera, however, their response did not include answers to either compatibility with the camera or sensors. Im going to guess (just a guess) as their bumper has no provision for dealing with a camera being blocked by the swing outs...
I have a Bakflip Revolver series tonneau Cover on my truck. I ended up going with a Diesel Power Products rack built by Nemesis Ind. You can get a low or a tall, narrow or wide and it clears the roll up tonneau cover. They built one for Cooper that also has the awning mount pre built into...
A few small updates for the day. I got impatient and settled on an Ezi-Awn Bat 270 for the truck, Because of how we are going to mount the awning it will hang over the back of the tailgate by about 8 inches. Plus, Im selling my off-road trailer (CRUX Expedition) and considering a FourWheel...
I agree with getting Crosby if you can justify the expense. I put 1.13" shackles on my truck, not cheep but they have a real working load of 17,000 pounds. Never have to even worry about them failing, even if I am running a double line and a hard pull. Recovery gear can be crazy price wise and...
Let me know if you want to take the trucks out and run a trail some time. Im in Cascade CO. Oddly enough, I grew up in Oregon and have family in Washington as well.
I put mine on the passenger side inner bed structure forward of the wheel well. I don't have a pic, but we did an ARB remote filter intake and moved the filter up another 12 inches with the tank to the rear and all the air lines are made from Semi Air Brake line hose and crimped stainless steel...
Its Official, truck is not going to Hanksville HotRods in Denver. They can only mandrel bend 3" .065, I need 3" .120 to have any kind of real strength. Back to the drawing board. I might have to consider 2.5" instead of 3". There are several shops in the Springs that can mandrel bend 2.5" in...
Well, thought of the day "purchase the OverlandXL.com domain and build a blog/vlog or something" after being prodded by a friend to do so. :( someone beat me to it.... :( lol, it was a thought...
I have not, work has been crazy busy and they still need to go to powder coating next week. Im going to be using the truck at All4Fun in Empire Colorado at the end of the month so I deff. need to get busy on finishing up some things.
When I was thinking / looking around at hood vinyl I realized everything I saw followed the center body line on the hood and went straight back to the windshield instead of continuing to follow the body line. I prefer the finished look of following the body line all the way around the hood. I...
They do, I have just been putting off installing them until I am done with everything on the front of the truck so they are not in the way. They actually plastic rivet to the flares, so once they are installed its a pain to remove and reinstall.
Solid choice, its going to look great on your truck and offer the protection you want. 4 weeks of lead time isn't to bad considering you will get what you want.
And, the graphics are done... Crazy base color, seems that lighting changes the color of the wrap from a tan - Olive , none the less, its mine lolololol....
You are absolutely correct. Its not done, the color can't be matched perfectly :( Sooooo, after they spent 4 hours messing with it they decided to call me and get my opinion... Sad, the wheels change color and the wrap does not. So, I had to settle for a "close" match that is slightly (1%)...
Well, truck gets dropped off in the morning for graphics. Base color (sand) matches the wheels with mat Black and Orange. It will also be getting a decal on the hood that follows the body line in the center back to the windshield with a thin Black and Orange outline. The file they sent me as...
and the backstop safari.
I like how the TR bumpers side tubes wrap around the headlight. However, Im sure the main grill guard on the Backstop is stronger as it overlaps the main bumper structure instead of just terminating into the top plate. Note that neither bumper allows for much airflow...
