You guys are correct on the notes concerning the stress cracks and some will be normal over the lifespan of the RTT. The fan is something that sadly we do not build in house and now and then there are a few that do go bad. However, do not worry we have replacements on hand and replacement of the fan is super simple. If you haven't already contacted Craig@jamesbaroudusa.com please do so and if i can assist...

Correct the area was originally designed for just a spare tire without wheel for raids down in Africa where just a tire would do. Fast forward to the average overlander and the space makes more sense for some dry stroage bags less than 55lbs. Unless you are a split rim having fellow :)

Seems legit But honestly, all James Baroud tents are handbuilt in Portugal and AutoHome tents in Italy. Neither are massed produced in China where they would be "just sold without the name" and buyers should consider the fact it is a cheaply made knock off with in this case a Craigslist...

James Baroud has finally after much customer request created an annex or vestibule for our hard shell RTT's. I will post up a separate thread tomorrow to not sidetrack this thread. :)

The Shadow Awn may seem heavy but being all aluminum it is only 54lbs, where other 270* awnings are 45+ lbs. 10 pounds well spent ;)
