Fantastic pictures. Makes me miss the Oregon coast even more. The Wife and I try to make it to The Oregon Coast for our summer vacation every three years at the most. It really draws you back. We may have to start exploring the back country a little more on our next visit.

Two different tools for two different adventures I guess. The trailer is great, we've spent a couple weeks on the Oregon Coast a few years in a row. I really like it. The rooftop tent really allows us to push the boundaries of where we get to explore and camp. We can also use the rooftop tent...
And my next project. A 75 and/or 150 watt mobile solar setup. I plan to use it for the travel trailer and Xterra. I had originally planned on mounting a permanent setup on the trailer roof, but figured a mobile setup would allow me to take a single 75 watt panel with the Xterra or two panels...
Replaced the broken stock 12v socket with a new one. I had previously installed a 12 volt Blue Sea lockable socket below it for the fridge. I ran a dedicated line direct from the aux battery to it.
I also ran some tie down loops from the seat mounting brackets to be able to steal stuff...
My wife bought some new led string lights and a comfy comforter for the RTT. So up she goes in the back yard. We're taking the inlaws camping next long weekend,so I've also been getting the trailer all prepped.

Minor mod day today. Relocated the trailer harness from its hanger below the hitch up into the bumper. Been on the list for awhile, and this lazy Sunday seemed like the perfect day to deal with it. I cut the old hanger off the hitch, ground it smooth, and hot it with some rocker guard.

Fantastic pictures of Montana. I love the State. We've travelled through it a number of times and will be heading through this July, to meet friends in Lolo, and continue on to Colorado.

At some point (sooner hopefully than later) I would like to replace the stock roof rack with a decent aftermarket one. Something that the RTT can attach to, and still allow for some storage.
The options seems to be getting more and more limited, so far I like the looks of the Gobi Stealth Rack...
I really wanted to attend the NW Rally, but we are leaving for Colorado the week after and I'll need that weekend to make sure everything is ready for our two week trip. Hopefully next year.

I use the bar of my Hi Lift and slide it over the 1/2" breaker bar. That always gives me enough torque to break the nut on anything. Even worked on my seized front axle nut.

The top nut on your new UCA? It's new, they should be able to loosen it with a breaker bar, if that. Something seems off there, if that's the case.

It's been a bit, but you still considering the possibility of a Whipsaw Trail run at some point in August? I have not found any other groups that I know of that are making a run in August, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't be up for it anyways. If it's something you're seriously up to, then we...
I run dual Deka Intimidators and a TMax dual battery control. I ran a dedicated line from the auxiliary battery to the fridge in the back and replaced the stock fridge plug with a locking Blue Sea one. Tested over a weekend with no significant drop in auxiliary voltage. I have a portable solar...
Yes. I know. I've been throwing $$$ at the Xterra all winter and just couldn't squeeze any extra out of the budget without the CFO putting me in a time out corner for awhile. Ha.

I need to join a snorkel-envy support group. Well that or save up my pennies and buy one. So very cool looking. We live in a summer dust bowl up here, I'm willing to bet a snorkel would help suck in some fresher, less dust laden air. ( yeh, that's how I will sell it to myself.)
