We've had one for about 5 years. Temp thing is off but we put a secondary one in. Works well.

We just bought a whole new camera system here at work. They really like the D800 but when they started comparing the prices on Lenses, apples to apples Canon was cheaper. They ended up going Canon which doesn't help me borrow lenses since I'm running Nikon.

I've got one of the original Pentax WP camera. It must be pushing 7 yrs old. Fits in your pocket nicely. 5mp. I've taken surprisingly good photos with it. Any of the newer ones should do the same.

I've been down to the swell twice in three weeks. It's only 3 hrs from me. I'm supposed to be down there again this weekend but may have to bail because of work. It's definitely worth the drive if you get the chance.
