I have a hero and it works fine. My guy at work with a new hero 3 has had nothing but issues with his as well. Constant freezing up. Sounds like gopro should be scrambling to figure this thing out.
I've knowingly been in the water Once with a Great White. Diving off a shipwreck off Cape Haterus NC. Darn Jaws theme song going through my head the whole time until I was out of the water. Growing up surfing in Maine in the winter time didn't lead to too many shark encounters.
What years and models of Subaur do you find these axles on? I'm in the planning stages of a m416 style trailer and think these would be perfect given the light loads and desert roads we run.
I'd keep playing with himjust for fun. These scams are a dime a dozen. Tell him you happen to be stationed at Fort Lewis and know the logistics deptartment manager really well. All you need to know is what the crate number is and your buddy will let you check it out.
Interesting option with the Duraplaq. I had no idea there was foam board and Gator board. Gator was what I was thinking. I generally have built my own frames. my wife likes the rustic, beat up 2x4 look. I plane them down to about 3"x 1 1/4" so they are a little less lumber looking.
So being so new to this photography thing I ordered several large prints, 30x40", a few weeks ago from WHCC.com and failed to think about how I was going to mount these. Do any of you mount your own prints to foam board or something similar? I did a Youtube search, but mostly saw people using...
The 10x10 is a perfect family size. I throw 6-7 boys in there with all their gear no problem. The 10x14 does feel huge. Frankly its often a pain to find a spot flat enough for it. The fabric quality seems to be equal in my unscientific opinion. Zippers all work on both. The main thing I...
I own both the 10x10 and the 10x14, I'm a scout master. I've had them for 3 yrs and they get used at least 20 nights a year. Scouts are hard on equippment, but they have held up great. The only thing I like better about my Springbar is the rope that goes around the whole base. The webbing...
I use my Hennesy Hammock every time I don't have the family with me. Most of the time I sleep better in the hammock than I do at home. I've even done some winter stuff with it. With a sleeping pad below me I've been very comfortable in cold weather. I just pull the rainfly down a little...
My father did the same thing when we were clearing our land outside Boston to build a house when I was 14. Funny thing was he was teaching me proper chainsaw technique when the exact knee cut took place. He pinched it with his hand and I drove him to the hospital without a license. I am very...
I shoot the D90 but niether of those lenses. I really liked my cheap 18-55 and but moved over to an 18-200. I'd keep the lens you have and put the money towards some faster glass. Just my $.02. Have fun with the D90. It's been a good learning Camera for me.
Can't say anythig about the Cheaper Engels, but I own one of the DeepBlues in a 65 qt. Its suited my needs pretty well. I still use it quite a bite even though I have an Engel freezer now.
I struggled to get a picture that showed the steepness of Angels Landing. This is my father inlaw in the picture, but without someone it lacked size I guess.
