Sunsets

Thanks. They turned out to look much scarier than they really were last night. It all just wimped out right after sunset. Hopefully we'll get the engine firing on all cylinders soon. :sombrero:

Very nice. Let the rain and hail begin. I remember getting trapped in a trading post in Gallup NM during a monsoon storm. Amazing.

I have been pulling up some old photos from previous overland trips now that my post-processing techniques are better. Here is one from the Anti-Atlas in Morocco (2008).

Thanks guys, but it is only about 4700 pixels long, so maybe not 84"

But this one at sunrise is over 11,000 pixels ( 11 frame pano ) and I like better for a large metal print.

While I shot this before sunrise, I could hear the lions grunting down the hill behind me in the dark.

We were out of the Land Rover shooting with a tripod, listening very carefully for lions...... That's why this photo means so much to me.

Low res file ripped off my FB page. Spent this weekend in Jersey (UK!) for my birthday and went out to the west point of the island for some sunset shootin' :ylsmoke:

Well I was suppose to be out shooting birds and animals this weekend in Southern Saskatchewan. BUT due to the fact that my new 500mm lens never arrived I had a change in location and ended up staying close to home. The sun set was amazing thanks to some fires in Montana.
