GLWS, that is one TIDY looking DC aye. Love how cohesive your design came out from front to back with the dimple die stuff all around the truck. She's a beaut and someone will be happy/lucky to drive her home and get her out exploring again.
Cheers

^^ HOLY GRAIL BATMAN!!!!!!! That is one special/rare 1st Gen right there. LOVE IT!!!
Yep, I know what you mean... Great looking truck man. That Blazeland kit has proven to be a great design. i remember when he started designing it and I kinda though "That looks awesome... but we'll...
Beauty... that interior is NICE!!! I have the same interior color/trim so it's like looking into my trucks past when I first got it. Enjoy that truck man that is great.

BFG AT's... For my needs here in the PNW, they're my favorite tire by far. Tough as nails, good even wear, great ride quality, awesome wet/snowy performance. And they hold up to off-road abuse beautifully. Just wish I could find the 33X9.50's (or even a 34-35x10.50 in both AT and MK2 flavor...
Beauty... That Jimny was a sweet little rig too (as are the VW's). Hilux Looks awesome and like a perfect truck to haul you around the world aye, and I love the reverse lights (I'm going with LED's on my build too, it's amazing what kind of light output you can get now days w/o having to run a...
Those Racor filters are nice too aye, looks like you've got it handled, very nice... I think that's the same model of Racor I was looking at too but after awhile I started to go loopy trying to keep them all seperated in my head/notes and just went with the CAT unit because I've gotten a lot of...
 :Wow1: Oh MAN, that looks AWESOME. I guess in the other pics I didn't see the bed-liner segments but that's even cooler then I first thought. The trucks lookin like a BEAUT now. Now quit enjoying your life and get working on the Mongrel for us all to drool and dream over :sombrero...
Hey I've seen that truck running around town... Very cool!!! If you see a red-headed guy with a beard hanging out of a 1st Gen 4Runner (or a dark blue XJ) giving you a big thumbs up that's me saying "hi" and inwardly drooling over your rig... I'm really stoked on what I'm building right now, but...
That red chopped 95 is AWESOME!!! If my wife (and I) didn't love sleeping in the back of the truck so much with our typical NW weather I think I might just do that to my 95 Diesel build. That's by far the cleanest version of that chop I've ever seen aye. Any chance there's a build thread on...
WELCOME MATE!!!! Cool to see one of the "big" Toyotas getting out and playing aye. Love that Camburg set-up, if I had one of those beasts I think that's the way I'd go suspension wise. Camburg makes some seriously nice stuff.
Enjoy The Portal and I look forward to seeing the rig grow up as...
YUP... Spot on summation as usual Clay (and thanks for the heads up on emailing All-Pro aye). That oil pan wasn;t 'cheap" by any means and I'm REALLY not wanting to hack it up so... I was thinking the same thing though, that I'd move the axle as far forward as possible and MAYBE be able to run...
:smilies27: 's ... Yuk. Those rims alone plus a Fabtech 7" lift = double :smilies27: :smilies27: Yuk.
While I see some neat stuff in there (Rigid ind Lights, ext. range fuel tank and F/R Air-Lockers) and rims aside it's a good LOOKING truck in some ways, it seems to me that they spent more...
SO here's my beautiful new CAT Fuel/Wat Separator...
LITTLE bummed, I guess I'd never realized that in 88 or 89, the Pickups got 3" longer springs (52" vs 48" OME CS019R) cause that would have been what I went with for this truck but... O well, I know that the CS009R springs ride just fine...
AHA thanks for that info, def saw a Limited then aye...
DAM MAN!!! Those are some great updates, and I love the way you mounted the ARB comp. Looks very slick/stealthy esp. considering there isn't as much room in the engine bay as there used to be in older trucks (possibly the understatement...
Not to derail your Build thread here, but is it just the TT model or was there a face-lift for that "stock" front end for the 2014's or a mid-year "refresh"??? I just saw another 5th Gen going down the road and it had a completely different front end (much more "sedate", although much more...
WOW :Wow1: ... That Shrockworks REALLY cleans up that *ahem* "interesting" front end on the new 4Runners (Ok, I'll just come out and say it: the stock front end is ugly IMO). I gotta say I think it looks GREAT with the new bumper. Nice approach angle, good protection, improved looks... They...
Thanks Clay, I have visions of a Surf version of a S.African 3rd Gen 4x4 SFA Pickups running through my mind and I can't WAIT to see it sitting in my driveway hahahaha. I feel like a kid who's been waiting for Xmas to come for well over a year...
Cheers
