    I made mine back in 08 what I did different was make the case split in the middle that way you can get small maps out. They tend to open up inside and some get stubborn to come out, so the split case works great.

    I painted the roof tan.... the silver was like a mirror with the sun. installed some fender protection as well, trying to keep the rock dings at a minimum. until I can get some new rims and tires I just painted the rims black.

    did they figure out why the roll pin was being pushed out in the first place? I know someone who welded a little washer over the pin and the pin still started pushing the washer up. That seems to be a lot of force on that roll pin..... just curious

    So by the looks of the outline on the glass the bird obviously did a face plant on your window AND spit up when he hit it. Nice shot although the bird is probably feeling a little bummed. My guess is a humming bird, they are notorious window crashers.

    larger tires for a 2wd E350

    I run 265/75/16 on my 01 E350 no lift and dont rub . I would imagine if you have a 2" lift you could go 1 size bigger.

    today I rewired the rear door lights, they were wired at the bottom from the factory so I had to re route the wires to the top since I made the door hinge at the top. I also added a utility light in the door on the inside.

    So being that I have several of the stainless steel grab bars, I put one on the top of the tongue as a handle when moving the trailer around. It was much easier to maneuver the trailer with it.
