your not kidding... I remember when I was a kid my parents took me to some convention and I saw a whites metal detector. Basically it looked like a box mounted to pole w/ a plate on the bottom. gold right now is $1,700.+ per ounce, they expect it to top out at $5G per ounce within two years.
well if people are stealing artifacts then they deserve to go to jail... furthermore I wouldnt want them on this site anyway. Its not illegal to be a detectorist/treasure/gold hunter as long as you know where you can and cannot hunt. The idea here was to get together with fellow hunters/4...
Mods, can you start a new forum or sub forum for treasure hunting/metal detecting. I would think there are a few of us on here that do one or both and it would be great to hook up with fellow treasure hunters here Thanks. Thomas (cowboy4x4)
check out my website overlandxt.com Im in the process of building the exact rack you are describing. The back half is done and there will be a basket rack that goes from the back of what you see to half way over the cab without touching the cab. It will hold both of our kayaks as well.
Chris I dont suppose you could make a paper template of the end pieces out of paper of your wood cabinet (behind driver seat one ) and mail them to me along with the other dimension specs? I will gladly pay for the cost of the mailing... Thomas
so I came across some cool rubber rollers 2 3/8 OD w/ a 1/2 hole all the way through the center and they are 12" long. I plan on making roof rack and I will install these across the back of it so when I put the kayaks up there they can roll up instead of grinding on the back rail.

So my van is an E350 which is 1 ton and I saw another E350 1 ton and the rear axles are different. This other guys van axle sticks out throught the rim just like my Ford Dually did, where as my 1 ton van it does not its flush with the rim. Now I'm also hearing things about a "sterling" rear...
My thoughts are the same for HOA's they can all kiss my ********. I live in one as well and I'm moving out to AZ. in four weeks and this state and all its lame ******** rule's. I would def. get rid of the map on the side, I'm not fond of the those blue and red stripes but thats just me. there is no way...
Started on some upholstery work. I have to use the van for work and play, the slide out box is strictly for off road stuff. So I figured out a color scheme for the interior, the factory front is gray and I like that. I like the fact that it is more or less a neutral color and is easy to keep...
I would be curious to see where the clutch pedal goes. I looked at mine and the gas and brake pedal fill up the entire open floor space. Just to the left of the brake pedal starts the hump for the wheel well.
So when I'm driving I keep hearing a squeak when I go over any kind of bump. I finally pinpoint the sound, its coming from the left rear leaf spring. It seems there are some type of plastic spacers in between the leafs and mine are coming out hence the squeak. So a trip to IKEA nets me a bread...
To everyone out there with a Ford van...... when I bought my van the back door lock was busted, it was pushed in towards the inside of the door. I thought the plastic had just broke from use as this was a previous work van. I was trying to figure out how to repair it without having to buy a...
yes its the stuff to go around windows and doors. If you can find the brand "Bituthane" it is twice as thick. I covered all the open areas first and drove it around before I put on the insulation and it def. helps dampen the the noise. Ford and other auto makers already put the same type of...
