I wonder if those are Mopar Hardrock rims with spacers, or the Quadratec version with the correct backspacing?

I'm not usually a fan of painted roof and fenders but that's a nice looking JK!

I haven't seen any issues posted regarding the new ones. I currently have one of the Gen 2's and the rim itself is substantially thicker then the Gen 1, I'm not sure what other design changes have been incorporated. AEV has been helpful and I am working with them on a solution.

Make sure they are GEN 2 Pintlers, I've had two of my GEN 1's crack in the last month.

Just an update for those that care, it's been over a year since I switched away from the NL to a Blue Sea 500 amp ML-ACR for my dual battery charging needs. I've been in all kinds of ambient temps, up to about 115 degrees and the system has worked flawlessly. I still suspect high under hood...

The ACR has a remote switch as well, you can control it manually if you like. I don't know how much simpler it needs to be, AUTO, Combined, Separated.

I left mine on, the battery doesn't need to go in and out on a regular basis and it hasn't been an issue for any other items.

Max coupler - earlier designs weren't as easy to hook up, but current design is a piece of cake. Haven't ever read of failure of a Max Coupler which is not the case for the Lock N Roll which is why I chose the Max Coupler.
