Adventure Driven's Sexy Lexy, 2007 Lexus GX470 Silver KDSS, $100,000 build

I feel like this is a pretty decent deal. The equipment, at most, only has 32,000 miles on it. KBB values the rig at just shy of $12,000 excluding all the overland equipment. The design and layout of the build is where the real value is. Overall, again, I think its a very fair price...

270deg awning w/ square back options

Is Alu Cab's Shadow awning the only 270deg awning that comes straight off the back of the vehicle? I want an awning that offers full coverage and is extremely durable. The Fox wing at first seems like a great fit due to all the additional options for walls, wind breaks, and tents, but seems...

    Power wagon rambox problems

Well the bed loss is minimal and if you are carrying lumber its un-usable space anyway. Plus for people that use the truck as a Lifestyle choice its a nice feature. I have never understood why people buy toppers or tonneau covers though. You loose so much utility when you close a bed in.

    Power wagon rambox problems

From my perspective and ownership I can say that they need work as an engineer. Mine have been repaired multiple times for various reasons like leaking, not shutting right, and body lines not lining up. It was like pulling teeth to get the dealership to repair it as well. Finally after the...

    Power wagon rambox problems

That AEV truck with the Ram box rack was at Overland Expo East and I was told that the Rack WILL BE MADE! Thats what I plan on getting. Also, Nuthouse Industries is making one too. I am in the same boat as you as I have the ramboxes as well (love hate relationship with them) and interested...

    Non Chinese RTT?

5 years is better than 12 months though. Unfortunately, I am looking for a more traditional RTT. The wife demands a private exit/entry with annex below. I really like the Howling Moon Stargazer. They seem to be hard to find here in the US though.

    Non Chinese RTT?

From what I've seen on others vehicles and at Overland Expo East, the Chinese tents are just not that well made. The seam tape is extremely poor, god knows what chemicals are in the dipped canvas, and I honestly don't want to support Chinese industry due to human rights labor issues. I've...

What brands other than Eezi-awn and James B are made outside of China? I know CVT, Tepui, and HIT are all made in China.

    CVT Summit Series discussion

Does that thick of a mattress effect the closing of the tent? Do you still have room for bedding? Also did you go with one of their stock sizes or did you match the OEM mattress size?

This is an issue with most companies from what I am seeing. 23zero seems to be the best with a 3" closed cell foam so it's a little more supportive.
