Haha nice! I was originally planning on using the platinum 10s, but after really thinking about it the remote started to scare me a tad. As cool as it was to use and bullet proof as it may be, the last problem I want to have in a tight situation is a dead remote and missing USB charger. haha...
I have yet to hear of such a problem on a JK and the combo is very similar to about every AEV JK.
The addition of the heat reduction hood should also increase airflow and decrease under hood temps. I will keep an eye out though thanks! :)
Thanks! and I just have to find a little time to get some proper shots.
The "Intensity" label is "printed" and cannot be removed, trust me it crossed my mind. haha
I installed two spot lights despite the normal spot/flood combo that is typical, because I plan on adding additional flood style...
I know the feeling haha. The Zeon is the most popular winch that we install in AEV bumpers, fits perfectly and is a tad less than the CTI-S. The Vac pump gets relocated with the AEV bracket on the AEV winch plate. Also you are going to love the BD squadron fogs!
Overall I'm super happy with the outcome of the ARB lights and how the setup looks IMO classic with modern technology.
I also found a set of NOS Aussie BarriNut light locks lurking around in the warehouse at work. No clue the actual age of these, but they are rare nowadays I'm sure. :)...
Finally had enough time to install my AEV front bumper, Warn Zeon10s winch, Baja Designs Squadron fog lights and ARB AR32 driving lights! Some progress pics;
I will be running the AEV front bumper. Here's some better shots!
And a shot of my hood and snorkel that I installed yesterday :) unfortunately the only time I could see my jeep today with some day light...
Yes, the first two on the left are on-off-on. The furthest left switch is an IPF style reverse light switch and the second is the forward facing light control. The following two switches are on-off and the upper amber light illuminates when the light is on.
Awesome! I'm not sure about local laws from state to state, but I wired a switch on my Spod to change forward lighting from being a keyed source to a high beam activation for my bumper lights and BD squadron fogs on back roads. I tapped into the JWSpeaker headlight harness for the signal post...
I totally understand haha, this Jeep is my one and only vehicle and daily driver. That's why my mods are reliability based and only get installed on Mondays. (day off, fiancé works) :) ..... Or so I tell myself. Haha
Awesome and welcome to the club! what plans do you have for yours?
I would have ordered 4.10s but I plan to regear in the future for the addition of 37"s and thought I could manage in the meantime.
If you are planning to run 35"s you made a very wise choice!
