    Q-MAXX compressor from Costco $49.99

Got one of those as a back-up to my Co2. It aired up my 315's from 15 to 40 in 6 minutes each. I know a few people who carry 2 of them and run one on each side of the rig for quicker fills.

Not cam locked, center latch. Which BTW needs a little work, but does open and close. Don't remember hooks, but I will check it out tonight.

Survival Sack: When things go bad...

I'd like to add that I've used my old school Zippo at altitudes approaching 11k and it worked just as well as it does at 2k. Yes they do dry up, but if you have a bug out bag you should regularly check it out anyway and make sure all your junk is in it and working. Or just get a small bottle of...

An unexpected chance at a LandCruiser

That is a smokin deal!!! 175k miles is nothing and a quart of oil between changes is fairly normal if you read the tech board on MUD. I lose that much myself between 3-4k changes and it never leaves a drop on the pavement. They hold 8 qts, so 1 is not much. If you can swing it, it's a good...

    airsoft pellet tire balancing?

I haven't gotten around to putting mine in yet. I'm lazy that way. I get new stuff for my rig, then 6-12 months later I get around to installing it. The beads have got to be better than weights for me. I take my rig offroad constantly and punish it. I'll guarantee I leave behind some lead...

    Found my next Expedition tire!

My Cooper Discoverer STT have been great tires. They balance OK, make less noise than BFG MT's and grip rocks like mad at 15psi. I've got about 11k on them and have lost a few small chunks, but lots of tread depth left. A friend of mine had those Swamper in 37's and after a bit they had lost so...

    We did it!!

Thanks for that info! I didn't get the trailer brakes option or battery option, so no worries there. So I can get an adapter now and when I need to in the future, rewire the rig.

Sounds good to me! Thanks for the link. I guess I have some rewiring to do.
