We got a new bumper for the Toyota Land Cruiser. And its pretty DARN cool. Check it out. We have and will continue to ruin the purity of this Land Cruiser.
I decided to remove my Decked Drawer System. It just made the bed of my truck unusable for the things I needed to haul. Any recommendations on what to do for cargo management?
Alright finally the last destination from the trip to Moab.
Sego Canyon, We didn't have a ton of time. So we saw as much as we could while we were there. Sego Ghost Town, the cemetery, and petroglyphs.
Escalante is one of my new favorite places to go. Its remote, harder to get to, and not a lot of people down there. We did some exploring down there a few weeks back in the land cruiser. We were doing some exploring looking for places to do some camping and other activities in the area. Lots...

Concluding video to the Shafer Road I shared last week. Potash Road runs the rest of the way into Moab. The views here are amazing. We were blown away. I can't believe in all the times we had been to Moab, we've never gone on this road!

I've driven lots of vehicles. If you want the ultimate. A 2500 usa built truck has it. Brakes and handling.
That said I have a 1995 FZJ8o. And it has ABS. It has plenty of power to stop. Its on 35" tall tires and handles just fine. With the sway-bars connected and everything kept off the...
We finally hit one of the roads I've always wanted to drive in Southern Utah. The Shafer Switchbacks in the Canyonlands National Park. Really fun drive with great views.

Maybe a R2.8 Cummins or 5.9 Cummins 24 valve. And an auxiliary fuel tank. The fuel mileage is atrocious on it. I did get 14 mpg though going 100 miles at 75 mph. But I deleted the cats. LOL. Not too bad considering its on stock gearing and 35x12.5x17 Toyo MTs. The combo almost seems perfect.
Alright, finally got around to this video. We took Big Burtha up Long Canyon, because the cruiser wasn't sounding so healthy after Kane Creek. It's a nice easy trail. The truck fit well and we didn't have any issues, as would be expected anyway. The best time to run this trail is right...

Well, that was gross, and it took way too long. Luckily my business partner and I installed a lift at the shop. And I was able to do this nasty job a bit faster on the lift. #importmotorwerx
This is what I’ve been up to this week.
Rebuilt the front axle. New CV shafts. Upgraded to 30 spline outers. What a mess. Took me 12 hours in total because everything was such A mess. Almost used a full box of 200 shop rags.
also replaced all the tie rod ends. Steering is nice and tight now...
