I bought some silvania silverstars and won't again. Like was said they only appeared brighter and in fog really sucked! also they had a super short lifespan. Both burned out about a year after I bought them and in the same week!
We hav a set of bridgestone blizzacks for my wifes car(2001 civic). Not sure if they make them big enough though? It is amazing how much better her car performs with them on. the hill by our house is almost impossible with the all seasons she normally has and switch to the blizzacks and it...
for those with an ipoid touch there should be two GPS solutions coming in the new year one from Magellan and one from Dual electronics. The dual one looks better but the Magellan one will be out sooner.
we had a guy in our club with a hummer and it kinda worked. Not well and always had leaks. He put huge solid discs on his wheels to stop it from getting ripped off.
With a non portal axled vehicle I can't see it being done for anything even close to reasonable $$$.
wow this is very cool. My wife will need a new rig next year and this just solidified getting a JK. Having it enter over the rear seats is too cool. I like being able to keep the rear storage intact.
I have had an 18V combo kit for around 3 years now. It has worked flawlessly. One thing I like about Ryobi is they keep the price of batteries cheap. I had a dewalt drill and both batteries died. Two new batteries were more than the whole Ryobi kit! I recently picked up the impact driver and its...
the 16V started in '92 it was only '91 that had the 4 door and 8 valve motor. The 4 door kicks are cool and very capable. I was amazed at what I could get in mine. alas it rusted out so I parted it out.
I have never been an Apple user. I recently bought a Touch for our 2 week trip that I needed to have e-mail access for and needed a new music player. WOW is all I can say. If the tablet is anything like the touch or Iphone I would probably look at one now.
My touch just eliminated 3 devices in...
I am putting alink to my other thread as tom tom and dual motion make GPS's for touchs now!!
http://www.expeditionportal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=33079
I thought i would update this thread because I finally made the choice of an ipod touch over a netbook(not sure if this was a good idea yet!)
There are 2 choices for GPS out now. Tom Tom has a GPS cradle for in the car it includes a GPS receiver and works with the touch...
a 60 with a 3b and a 4 speed will not be fast but will be super reliable! Turbo will make a world of difference then a 5 spd. Ask how many kms on the motor. Check for rust because if its rusty you might as well do the conversion yourself with a rust free one to start with.
Cool little trailer. We bought a 12' travelaire in the Spring and used it all summer. No bathroom so it has a bed for my son and the table folds down for us. Mine seems quite heavy for what it is though. Can't complain for $800!

This is the one I have I looked at the Coleman one and it was huge. The woods one isnot the sturdiest of things but its nice to have a spot to put the camp stove...
that is a huge cylinder on that dump! Most of them are easy to take all the dump stuff off and convert back to flatdeck. We do it at my shop for other vehicles all the time and we also do alot of converting decks to dump as well. Nice truck.
What site do you look at to find these rigs in Japan?
We're in Canada we overpay for everthing. His price is $700 CDN so around $650 US Igf you bought that $699 US one and had it shipped up here you woul;d have to pay PST and GST and that adds up depending on your province. 5% GST at the least plus brokerage. $700 is a deal but your side of the...
