    2020 EarthCruiser?

I have no inside knowledge, simply getting all the info from Earthcruiser postings. My response on the end of diesel Fuso models was in reply to your comment “(and question the logic of discontinuing the diesel motor option)” since they can’t get any new Fusos with diesel engines...

There is no diesel Fuso available now in the U.S., only the gasoline engine.

So, once you put in a diesel hydronic heater and the Isotherm water heater with an electric element you do have the option of doing cabin heat using the diesel hydronic system instead of a diesel air heater. Lots of options once you go with the hydronic cabin heat (e.g., radiator in the bathroom...

So, would you also run engine coolant through the Isotemp to heat water or just use the electric element?

The electric one doesn’t use hot air, just needs 12v power, but the tank is small so maybe not enough capacity for what you need. 6 liter tank may be enough if you set it to the highest temp setting and mix with cold water at the facucet. Here is one used on a Unimog build...

Thanks for the info on their comment response, I had watched the video when it first appeared. A single fuel source is the clearly the best option, Petrol Webasto Air Top cabin heater and electric hot water would be fine assuming the hot water capacity is good and electrical usage is reasonable.

Thanks for the info, the more options the better... We are pretty happy with our Webasto Dual Top but, even with the digital control panel, it has an issue keeping a relatively constant temp in the cabin, temp swings +/- 5 deg F around the set point over a 6 hour cycle. Webasto says that’s the...

Compare it to the hard side EC FX made in the U.S. and you can see many similarities but as noted before lots of expedition vehicles are similar...

No, I don’t think they sell 4x4 Isuzu trucks in the U.S.

So maybe the 140 for the single cab and 160 for the crew cab, not that it makes much difference since everything that would effect the GVWR seems to be getting replaced anyway, driveline, suspension, brakes, etc. No reason to pay extra for a 160 single cab if all the stuff that makes it a 160 vs...

Total Composites Camper on Mitsubishi Fuso FG walk through

Well, she was responding to a comment made in a previous post... “ Hopefully EC will watch the video and see if there are any ideas that make sense for them also. The inside sliding closet in the back of the bed area seems a decent idea. ” Getting a little defensive, maybe?

Total Composites Camper on Mitsubishi Fuso FG walk through

Once you decide to do the entry way mudroom/shower/toilet you are pretty much going to have the rest of the layout set assuming you want a permanent bed and a separate seating area. Again, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery and I agree that it would be nice if he had mentioned EC at...

    Towing a LN2

The two times we have needed a tow there was the option to use low boy flatbed which is the easiest way to get towed safely. Probably only an option in specific locations. Both times we were put on a flatbed was in Alaska where they have tow companies specializing in recovering tour buses...
