The Kenworth K-370 is an oddball since it is a blend of DAF parts and standard Kenworth parts. Dealers have to use two separate parts databases and many are not familiar with the DAF system. And ours was converted to 4wd so some more non-standard but readily available additional parts in the 4wd...

The import laws and emission/safety standards surely have an effect but in the end sometimes it just doesn’t make financial sense. MAN would require a significant investment to move into North American market with no current dealer or distribution base. Daimler is already here with Freightliner...

In the end, when GXV looked at the awning it turned out that it was not damaged but it had been ripped from the mounting on the side of the truck. It was reattached and no problems since then.

Considered one but bought a GXV Patagonia on a Kenworth K370 cab forward instead. Cab forward all the way now even when we downsize.
