GXV Patagonia on the Kenworth K370 chassis

Yes, airing down to 70 psi on washboard is something I am planning to try (keeping the speed under 40 mph as shown in that brochure). I already had that digital gauge inflator so I took it along in the truck. A better choice is probably the Power Tank digital with a 6 ft hose which is more...

GXV Patagonia on the Kenworth K370 chassis

Here is the inflation pressure info for the different conditions for the military application of the 22.5 inch Goodyear G278 that is on these trucks. I have the 425s which are not shown but it should be the same as the 385s and 445s. On the highway I use 95 psi...

    Expedition Vehicle selection thoughts?

Standard front drive axle with clearance at the differential similar to the rear axle. Two speed transfer case. Goodyear G278 tires in the 425 size but you can go a size larger with the G278.

    Expedition Vehicle selection thoughts?

GXV Patagonia on the Kenworth K370 chassis

Ours now has the front bumper with the winch and light bar. I have not seen the colors of the latest 3 Kenworth deliveries, one of those may be dark brown.

GXV Patagonia on the Kenworth K370 chassis

I notice that one of the latest 3 Kenworth builds has a different awning or at least a different awning mounting system which seems to be more rugged than the standard Freedom mounting brackets that were used on our truck. I haven’t had a chance yet to check with GXV to see what they did on that...

GXV Patagonia on the Kenworth K370 chassis

I gave it some thought and here is my response... First, we have no major regrets on what we decided in terms of configuration and options on our Patagonia. Given what we knew at the time based on our past experiences we think we did the best we could to configure the truck for full time travel...

Just saw your question. Have been at the Teklinika Camoground in Denali NP for a couple weeks with no cell connection. Will respond after I give it some thought.
