Diesel heater in a four wheel camper?

OK, I just went and watched the video. Yeah, I have thoughts. To each their own, but I'm sticking with my original statement, with an emphasis on the last portion about things being installed counter to specifications.

Diesel heater in a four wheel camper?

???? I agree, but that's kind of the whole point of ALL of the Diesel/Gasoline heaters (and the externally-vented Propane), isn't it? Maybe I'm misunderstanding, but your heat choices can be cleanly divided into only two camps: "burns your breathing air" or "externally vented". The...

    Combiner box or branch connectors?

Or Series-Parallel - like two parallel pairs of 2x12v panels in series for a "24v" nominal input at 33A?

    Combiner box or branch connectors?

There are a lot of real world variables, but for basic spec purposes, back-of-the-envelope math is useful: 200w panel @ 12v = 16.666A 4x 200w panel = 66.666A Now granted, these are nominal values - realistically the panel will be outputting a higher voltage, but at peak output (cold, sunny day)...

(SOLD): 2016 Tiger Bengal 4X4 Adventure Vehicle on Ford F350

Looks great! A few questions: 1) SRW or dually? Can't tell from photos. 2) Is the rear-seat platform removable in favor of reinstalling a passenger seat? 3) Total length?

Van Advice: Used 4x4 vs. 2WD and conversion

Danger, Will Robinson. In my experience, AWD is fantastic in snow, but your bog-standard 4WD systems tend so push, badly, and sometimes are scarier than a regular RWD with good tires. Pursue whichever build makes sense to you, but beware the notion that adding an off-road focused 4WD...

    SOLD: 2018 F150 5.0L V8 XLT SuperCrew 6.5” 4x4 with HDPP - RARE and very low mileage

Oooh, dang. This is tempting. This is a great package. Man, if this was a Supercab instead of a crew, I'd 100% be there. Even still...

    2007 Tiger

https://phoenix.craigslist.org/wvl/rvs/d/surprise-2007-tiger-chevrolet-3500-ext/7428463650.html Updated listing. All things considered, in this market, the price isn't completely bonkers for a diesel, extended cab Tiger, if the real condition is as promised. That said, in that vintage, buyer...

2020 Overland Explorer Vehicles (OEV) CAMP-X pop-up slide-in pickup camper (renamed "Back Country" as of 2023)

The way the leverage on the gas springs work - the first few inches of lift they give almost no help. (Because they're lifting on the hypotenuse of the triangle with basically zero height, so the force has almost zero "up" vector.) The net effect of this means that even with heavier struts...

Where is a good place to purchase a Tembo Tusk Skottle

Unless you're getting free shipping, you'll save more money by buying local than any discount you'll get. Them things is heavy.

For sale: 2021 Four Wheel Camper Hawk Shell

Curious if it has any of the seat options (dinette/rollover), or just bare? I'm frustrated by FWC's floor plans so I've thought about doing up a shell build.

    In need of water tanks!

To damp sloshing. For something like that 130L tank you posted, at 1/2 full that's almost 150lbs of water with plenty of room to move. Even on a big-boy truck, that kind of weight movement can be noticed, especially if you get an oscillation going.

Sleep 7 in e-350 eb?? Am i nuts??

If you get creative, it should be doable. Folks in my family routinely slept up to 6 people in a '73 VW Westy Bay. This included using the Westfalia "Cot" that spanned over the front row seats, and one person on the floor with their feet underneath the cantilevered part of the rock-n-roll...

New Alu-Cab Canopy CABIN full size

Note that one additional side-effect of Alu-cab re-using the upper bed components on the Alu-Cabin is that the walls have significantly more angle vs. the midsize Canopy-Camper. Since the upper bunk and cap are the same width as the midsize version, they need to span the gap between the wider...
