Thanks, I will be in Nixa next week to make the final tweaks on the locations for table mounts, grab handles, etc. We are getting close. Still needs to go back to the paint shop for final buffing.

Very true but I was referring to the weight difference between carrying full fuel tanks, 200 gal of diesel, vs 100 gal of diesel fuel on a 20,000 lb + vehicle in which case the extra weight of 100 more gal of diesel would likely not be a determining factor on whether you get unstuck or not...
Kenworth #3, our build, is scheduled to be delivered at the end of July or first week of August. Kenworth #2 has been delivered and is shown on the GXV website...

Hope it works out for you, Brad was great to work with. We also had an approval for financing our GXV build from a loan broker who collects a fee for finding a lender but the loan from Brad was a better deal with no broker fee.

I expect it will sell pretty quick at this price. I saw it under construction earlier this year when we were at GXV getting our Kenworth build contract finalized. As noted earlier the truck was available for a really low price with a bare interior so that helped keep the build cost down.
You did ask why someone would want one, not why someone wouldn't want one... :)
As noted by someone else, getting and storing the methanol fuel is a major issue. They also don't produce that much power compared to a generator.

It is pretty hard to find a new K270/K370 at a dealer, I expect most are special orders and they generally don't keep them in stock at most Kenworth dealers. You could also look to see if there are any used ones for sale near you.

Been wondering if the owner of the second GXV on a Kenworth might show up here. Our cabin just came back from painting and the Kenworth arrived at GXV from the dealer this week. I guess we are about a month behind yours or maybe less.

Is this your conjecture or do you have examples of used GXV vehicles that sold for half of what they cost? How old were these vehicles? Just interested in understanding if there is actual sales data behind your statements...
