Thanks for posting that info on the transmission rebuild!
Love your van, but I did use to rock some grey New Balances back in the day so maybe I'm biased...
Edit - After going back over your thread and seeing your front axle I am jealous. Next van I do is gonna have a front axle exactly like...
True, I guess I should have said that. But even with a front axle loaded in the back of my van it still sat level.
I know Chris asks when your ordering springs what your hauling/ planning to do so I am sure if you wanted his 4" springs with a full interior build, he would make it so it would...
I have the answer to your first question but the second is sort of a mystery to the van community. I am sure someone will figure it out eventually.
You will need a 2005+ F250/F350 Front axle, all of the 2005+ front axles have RSC already so you won't need to worry about that. 2013+ have the...
Make sure your order one of these before you start this swap. It will save you a huge headache of worrying about your paint.

brian94ht - You could definitely lower the ride height if you wanted but its going to hurt the amount of up travel in the suspension and make for a harsher ride over jarring bumps. I personally wouldn't do it. That and with Chris's 4" rear springs it sits almost perfectly level.
Just be careful with the older e150s if your gonna tow or load up the van, they are considerably different than the e350s.
The rear axle on a 2003 (2002 specifications pages are screwed up) is only rated at 3800lbs while the e350 of that same year is rated at 6340lbs. The e150 also has rear...
Ya I know it's a sweet van mechanically but the interior needs work just to be safe. I have a 16 month old that I can't let run around inside and it's frustrating. I also have zero funds to do any more modifications with so that doesn't help. Besides now that I know what I'm doing...
Not sure what your budget is but I found this one and it seems pretty legit. I have no knowledge of land cruisers so someone on here can help.

Timjim- Yep, check out the "found vans for sale thread" where we are talking more about it.
So I looked more into the frame stuff and if you get a cargo van the e150/250 frames are the same 2008+ (maybe more, I stopped going back) but the wagons seem to have their own frame dimensions. If you...
I need more of an interior.
I spent all of my play money on the mechanical side of this van and then realized that my family could care less if its 4wd but they want more comfort if we are going to go on long trips. The next van I get to replace this one will have a full interior already...

Did you see this?! I'd definitely buy this, throw MGs coil sprung kit on and it your at or maybe a little over 40k.
I'll check the frame stuff and get back to you.
If you want to use Ujoints Leaf Spring Kit then you must get Ujoints RSC axle. If you want to use MGs Coil Spring Kit that only uses 05 and up axles then you are set with whatever axle you find because all 05 and up axles are RSC Compliant.
Edit - only if your van has RSC, if it doesn't, then...
