Well, think about it. my buddy has an LR3 with the rear locker and traction control. He also has 18" wheels. His tires and my tires are effectively a 32" tall tire. I have ~2" more side wall with 16" wheels on my Disco 2. I have that much more buffer from my aluminum wheels eating a rock...

If the engine was taken care of, it shouldn't be a problem. Those older motors also had more head bolts to hold the head on. They had much less issues with bad head gaskets. Its only when they went to GEMS that the heads were changed. If I remember right. The older 3.5L's and 3.9L's seemed...

I got a TJM bumper for a Disco 1. It didn't fit like I liked, and it was bent to hell from the previous owners, but it was a good base to start with. This is what I got done tonight. I should have taken a picture of the bumper before I cut it up, but oh well. Plans are to get this thing fitting...

I sold a 1994 LWB about 8 months ago for $3500. It only had 115K miles on it. 4.2L everything worked. I converted it to coil springs but left it at stock ride height. It took me about 4 months to try and sell it.

What a deal, since you can buy a good one (I.E. NOT WRECKED) for $2500 all day long. oH, THAT was sarcasm by the way.

I got a TJM from a new friend who took it off his D1. Looks like I can make it work with some minor modifications. I'd like to add a swing out tire carrier to it as well. I'll update when I can.

Just got back from another trip to Moab. I rescued a poor broken down Jeep Cherokee off of Top of the World. All of his Jeep buddies left him sitting there. No one else would drag his POS back down for him. No pictures, because I didn't want to embarrass the poor guy. Anyway a few pictures.

So, my rear bumper has been destroyed thanks to towing a broken down Jeep down Top of the World in Moab. What's a good replacement option that will protect the back and sides of the Rover? Thanks

Got my ARB air locker working with the help of a new ARB air compressor.

A few upgrades have happened. The battery in my old BMW died so I decided to put my smallish Disco battery in it and get a proper battery for the Disco. Sears had the die hard platinum on sale for $249 with a 4 year warranty. Still need to fix the battery hold down. It's missing some parts.
