    ARB locker issue?

Okay. Finally got the thing hooked up. The Breather line seemed to be clogged. I blew it out with compressed air. I hooked up all the airlines and installed the new wiring harness that came with my new compressor. So, my only issue is, the only way i can get the locker to engage is to have...

The SOS Report. The Full Story

Loved the story. I've been on all those trails. I used to live in Powell, and Cody Wyoming. I've been on everyone of those Trails. I cut a sidewall coming down the switchbacks on Morrison Jeep Trail. It was not fun.

    ARB locker issue?

I installed an ARB locker in the back of my Disco 2. It was used when I got it. I air tested it before I installed it and i could hear it engage the locker. I don't have a compressor line hooked up just yet. I've been installing the compressor as time allows me. But I've noticed there is...

    ABS Issues

I bought a good unit off of Amazon. It reads ABS codes on all European Vehicles. It works great on my D2, it'll read the ABS and SRS stuff just fine. I would get one, use it to clear the codes. Then drive it around and see what pop's up again. First time I had ABS codes, I had a dirty...

    Utah area land rover specialist?

Hey there. There are not a lot of Rover specific shops around. You could call up Cruiser Outfitters in Murray. They work mostly on Land Cruisers and Toyota's but they do install a lot of ARB bumpers. I actually purchased my ARB bumper from them. They have great customer service. I installed...

    DV 2015 Adventures and Mishaps

I wouldn't use that stuff. Mine blew out the fire ring. I wasn't losing any coolant. I just had a loud popping noise. I lost one cylinder and didn't have much power. Some lady put some of that crap in a BMW and brought it into the shop I was working at. It ended up clogging up the radiator...

    DV 2015 Adventures and Mishaps

Good luck with fixing her up. I just had to do the headgaskets on my Disco. It took me 2 days to do it myself. Not really fun, but it runs great now.

Is there a way to bomb proof a 2004 engine?

I kept saying the same thing about my 4.0 D2. Until last week, the headgasket let go on the passenger side. Took me two days to fix. But its running better then ever now. I just put 800+ miles on it this week as well.

Is there a way to bomb proof a 2004 engine?

put some new sensors in. It only takes a few minutes. Or hook up a diagnostic computer and check it out. That happened to me because the connection had become dirty. cleaned it, no more issue.

    My Disco2 Build

Still need to put the drives side of the motor together, but I need to put in the new engine mount before I hook up the exhaust manifold. And then the front main seal. It went really easily. Should be driving again by Wednesday.
