    JKU Lift/Wheel/Tire combo Sanity Check

I recommend the Superchips FlashCal over the AEV ProCal. Easier to use, more setting options.

    JKU Lift/Wheel/Tire combo Sanity Check

LT285/70R17 will not rub, even disconnected at full articulation, that is the size I run. I am toying with going to LT295/70R17 after the summer is over and I chew this set up but my preferred replacement tire is not available yet in that size.

    JKU Lift/Wheel/Tire combo Sanity Check

I'm going to say that if you go with that combo and tow a trailer, re-gear to at least 4.56. I have a 2013, JKUS, 2.5" lift, 3.73's, equipped for overlanding but with 33" tires.and have towed a SoCal Teardrop on a couple of occasions. It is the towing portion that makes me recommend the...

PSA: good deal on Engo E9000 winch w/ synthetic line

My Engo has been awesome. We did a trail run a few months back where I had to set up to winch six consecutive vehicles past an obstacle, after winching myself past it. My Engo 10K performed flawlessly.

What did you do to your Expo Jeep today?

Nice! How does your Jeep feel at that altitude? Mine feels gutless.

What did you do to your Expo Jeep today?

I've been very happy with the 300KG overload springs from Old Man Emu if the Rubicon Express springs don't work out for you. We've towed a SoCal Teardrop twice this season and between gear in the Jeep, additional fuel, and the tongue weight the OME springs have been a huge help.

    Engle test

I don't see anywhere for the compressor fan to vent. Your just trapping that heat inside that cabinet.

What is considered "One Size Up" in Tires?

Your plus 1 would be 285/70R17. You should be able to go 295/70R17 without much issue.

What did you do to your Expo Jeep today?

Not at the moment. I've been running 33" and am happy with the tire size and the only place where I am hating the current gears is up above 8,000 feet. If I jumped to 35" a gear change to 4.56 would be a must. My wife is only 4'11'' so I really can't get the Jeep any higher than it is right...

What did you do to your Expo Jeep today?

Dropped the Jeep off at the shop this morning for the installation of ARB Air-Lockers, front and rear. Decided to go with ARB since I already have an ARB Twin compressor and an S-pod.

    ideal tire size

Since it's a Suburban and you're going to have to lift it anyway then the only size you should really be looking at is 35x12.50R16 or 315/75R16.

    ideal tire size

Wheel base? Track? Approach and departure angles? Suspension travel and capacity of the wheel wells as well as the current tire size all come into play when trying to figure these things out. Hell, .5" of backspacing on the wheels, depending on the tire selected could make all the...
