Your points are valid. Maybe you should take your suggestions directly to Kimberley US as you’d get more traction vs posting in a forum.

I agree it would be nice to have this information available on the KK website, but I don't think I've ever seen a manufacturer publish that level of detail. Not that there isn't an opportunity to "do it better". . .

I understand your concern as I would prefer dual axle myself, but Kimberley has been producing their trailers this way for many years. If there was an issue, they probably would have updated their design. They have a loyal following in Australia, and I'm sure that customer base would have been...

Best Sub 100K Trailer available in USA Market (not Black Series)

I don't mean to speak for Don, but we both have S3s scheduled to ship on 3/26. Between port time, sailing, and transport to Ohio once they land in the US, I'm guessing May delivery.

Yes, the Karavan is the unit that "transforms". Since they're designed and built in Australia (think lots of dust), I would imagine they're well sealed (but I have no personal experience). I would seem to me that the hard shell should be easier to pack up in the rain than something with a lot...

I just got word that my S3 is supposed to ship from KK on 3/26. Keeping my fingers crossed for no (or minimal) hiccups.

My understanding is that due to the Karavan's unique design, they are not moving the entry to the curb side. I believe only the Kruisers are being mirrored. Apologies if my previous post wasn't as detailed as it should have been. . .I made some edits.

    Gaia vs Onx

Here are screenshots from both Gaia and onX. I've tried every conceivable layer in Gaia with no success. These are marked "official" trails.

Yes, the door is on the curb side and the electrical system is 120v. Edit: the curb side entry does not apply to the Karavan due to its unique construction. Not sure about the Kamper. Kruiser models do have curb side entry.

    Gaia vs Onx

I've been using Gaia for the last year, via their premium subscription. However, sometimes I find their maps lacking in detail for hiking trails. For example, I just spent a week camping at O'Leno State Park (Florida). Gaia basically shows two trails (the park is full of trails). I just...

The Kimberley S3 was just awarded Expedition Portal's best luxury overland trailer of 2020. https://expeditionportal.com/best-overland-trailer-of-2020/?fbclid=IwAR3pNYgqKWj-_nzJHW-kTxumzMUz8l0IITQ7hFuyW0Ea9a5AuWndpPg-5y0

The walls of the Kruiser are insulated core. All plumbing lines and tanks are insulated. The tanks also have heating elements that switch on at 35F. If there are other specific questions, my recommendation would be to query David Bates (contact information in the first post of this thread).

They certainly aren't inexpensive. That being said, I haven't seen another manufacturer that offers the same or even similar product (amenities, layout, or quality) at a lower price point. Certainly no US manufacturer. There may be some other Australian brands at a lower price point, but they...
