Got a few more things done on the trailer, and managed to hook it up to my Jeep and drag it outside so I could clean up the shop.
Looks great to me!!!!!! Nice to see all of the hard work and effort turn into something I will hopefully use for years.
Still have quite a long checklist of...
How do I find out who the hiring manager is? I found a few things, but it doesnt list who is hiring for the position.
Also, is there a chart that explains what the pay grades are? I see things that say 'salary grade 53/54' etc etc, but that doesnt tell me much. I am not too picky on salary...

I LOVED my set I had on the Toyota, and will be running them in a 35" size on my jeep.

I have a 100 amp 12 slot box that is more than enough for me so far.
Two 20 amp outlet circuits (110v, with about 7 outlets on each circuit)
Two 20 amp lighting circuits (inside flourescents, and outside lighting)
3 30 amp 220volt circuits, welder, car lift, and another welder outlet or future...
Id love to go... but its an 'extra' 510 miles and 9 hours from my parents place. Not exactly on the way, but in the general direction. Hook me up with a job, then I may be able to afford to do road trips like that soon...:victory:

Its in Orangeburg, South Carolina.... about 4 hours away. I dont think you want to drive that far to save 15bucks? Although you did drive 3 hours for a can of spray paint...so? I was planning on weighing after it gets painted at my Pop's shop, which is also in O'burg. Most big truck stop have...
Yeah, I decided to just use what I had with the Cooper STT. I got the other one from Sears since I had a crap load of Sears gift cards. They price matched the best price I could find online which was $156.00, and I didnt have to pay for shipping. I thought it was a good deal, so I went with it...
I have a pepper grinder too.... only way to cook! I actually have quite an extensive spice collection in my camp set-up.
Here is my kicthen box:
List inside box:
1 quart Ikea sauce pot
2 quart Ikea pot
16 inch WOK, carbon steel from the Wok Shop
12 inch Calphalon frying...
I also installed the two latch pins for the lid, and will use hitch pins to hold the tailgate and lid shut. There will be a locking twist latch that connects both the lid, and the tailgate in the center to deter theives. I will only use the lock when I am on the road or have to stay over night...
Got some more work done today on the trailer. I made up the rear tailgate using 1 inch square tubing, and sheeted the front side and backside. I will be using this as a table space when camping, so I needed a nice flat surface on both side. I got the hinges on, and latch pins in place, but still...
I use the blackcat heater in my RTT. I hang it from the ceiling. I use bulk propane with a hose going into the tent and to the heater, since there is nothing worse than waking up at 4am freezing because the 1 pound cylinder is empty. The heater works phenomenally in my tent. I think the thicker...
If you design it, I will build it. I dont have that style tent, so I wont be much help. But, with a drawing and demensions, it sounds very simple.

Sean, I got the gas springs from McMaster Carr. It was wierd, I ordered them on Sunday night online, they said they would ship out on Monday morning, and I got them at 2pm on Monday. The same day they shipped out. I can honestly say that has never happened before!
Here is where they start in...
David, just say the word bro. I have offered up my services/equipment to all of my fellow Expo'ers. Not many have taken me up on the offer, but its there. Buy the materials, and bring em over.

Yeah, I cant wait to get her offroad. If the stars align correctly, it will be in two weeks up in the mountains. It obviously wont be finished, but it will be good enough for a quick shake down run.
Here is a good picture showing how the trailers we build 'articulate'. :) The axle is still...
Not much to address really. You cant think of it like a car/truck where the drivetrain is contantly under a twisting force due to the rotational physics of axles, tires etc. A trailer is just being dragged behind the vehicle. All those arms do is keep the axle center under the trailer and...
Its probably not a big deal at all, I was just justifying the destruction and resurection of a perfectly good, but unused trailer. :D
Yes, its my personal home garage (thanks!), and yep I am doing all of the cutting and bending of the sheet metal. Its not that hard honestly.
