Parasitic drain?- In need of some guidance/help

We use a 99 E350 diesel ambulance as an ETV, it needs to be run regularly to stay charged. The old incandescent bulbs (scene lights) love to use juice. Just opening and closing the rear doors a few times can be hard for the trickle charger to keep up with.

    Overland Cargo Trailer - Questions

You could try talking to a few trailer makers that make a trailer in the size you like and see if they could equip one with the Timbren Axleless suspension. We used the Axleless suspension on our little trailer and it was great.

JK130 | Custom TDI Diesel Parallel Hybrid Jeep Wrangler with composite camper build.

My Frontier Pro4x had a 125.9" wheelbase and it was good offroad but it did belly out on a lot of things. Thankfully Nissan made the frame rails the lowest point in the middle of the truck. If I remember correctly the Tacoma is about 1" longer between the wheels on the short wheelbase option...

I would go on an adventure with it stock. They are so good stock. Then it will give you an idea of what you need or want to modify. As for the Newton, does it fit your Jeep? I only found them in 5x4.5 and the JK is 5x5.

JK Sway Bar Skid Plate with Lightbar

Thanks for the replies. The input was appreciated. I agree with this 100%. That is why when mine got pulled off on the trail I never replaced it. I do apply fluid film to the electrical connector for the sway bar disconnect in hopes of its continual survival. As most people I do not spend...

JK Sway Bar Skid Plate with Lightbar

I am curious how many people have "used" their sway bar skid plate on the JK platform? My factory plastic one came off the first time I went off-road. In the year following it looks like the frame underneath has not taken any hits. I am thinking about installing a 20" lightbar I had kicking...

If the panels are making it longer than wanted how about making them stack. So that you can slide or lift them up when parked to maximize solar, but have them overlap when driving?

    4xe

I will be waiting 1-2 years, for financial as well as reliability reasons. The idea is interesting, just want to see the application. Right now I am finding all new vehicle prices hard to swallow.

No matter what happens in a Rally, you don’t abandon your teammate.

Maybe the co-pilot found out what the driver really spent on the vehicle mods

Fog is basically a low hanging cloud. The small airborne water particles in fog can act almost like mirrors in terms of their ability to reflect light. This means that when your headlights shine into fog, a majority of the light output produced by your lights will strike the airborne water...

Jeep just released a JL with a payload increase of 500lbs

The liability section isn’t voided by drinking and driving because if it were excluded there would be no financial recourse for the victims hit by the drunk driver. Therefore, if you are hit by a drunk driver, you can assume your damages will be covered assuming the drunk driver’s insurance was...

Jeep just released a JL with a payload increase of 500lbs

I believe it still has to do with options. If you have the factory hardtop, or the dual top group the sticker is going to show less, but the GVWR is the magic number? Not to sure this whole magic number thing is hard to wrap your head around. So is the legality of overloading, and insurance...

On the weekend I managed to get out do a big road trip to visit this waterfall. 4.5hrs to the trial head, and the trail in was mundane, but beautiful views everywhere.

Jeep just released a JL with a payload increase of 500lbs

I cannot find a reference to any changes of anything else on the vehicle between 2020 and 2021. Also in years past the Sport model had the highest payload, for 2021 the Rubicon Manual has the highest payload, because of the "HD suspension" and better axles? I am just speculating.

Jeep just released a JL with a payload increase of 500lbs

Has anyone looked into the 2021 Wrangler GVWR? Rubicon went from 2020 rating of 892lbs payload to 1351 with the same specs and options! Maybe payload is finally becoming a selling factor.

    Re-gear time need advice

I have a 3.6 rubicon unlimited manual and live at elevation in the mountains. The stock 4.10 gearing is great with my narrow 35's but if I was running 12.5 wide or didn't have 4.10's to start I would go deeper. If I had the 3.8 and an auto for sure the 5.13's if I wanted pep 4.88 if I did a lot...

    Coolest Jeep ever!

With the new GR8Tops single cab close out for a JK this might not be to hard to make a reality. Just grab an old RV and spend lots of time and money making it fit.

Jeep just released a JL with a payload increase of 500lbs

For sure I think the real reason the Wranglers payload is where it is, is so that if falls under the 6000 lb payload cutoff for EPA ratings on SUV's. This might be a benefit for CAFE fees. I am not to sure how that works or if it is true. So we would have to really convince them (the bean...
