How was the ride vs titan swapped? I only want 2"-3" of lift max and am debating titan swap as well. I just do not think I want the increased track width.
Back from Moab and had a great time. Did some mountain biking and few trails in the truck. I managed to do Metal Masher, played around on the first few ledges of Cliff hanger. Did night runs of Fins and Things and Poison Spider. Also rode in a jeep for Hells Revenge.
I have posted a few pics on...
I have been invited to go to Moab with some friends. They all drive big jeeps. I was curious if anyone has experience driving the Trifecta trails Poison spider, golden spike, rusty nail, Gemini bridge in a Frontier? Mine is locked front a rear with Oldman EMU and 285's. I have skids bumpers and...
First issue you might have is warping the heads. Then cooked bearings. Hard to say, if you are truly concerned and like your truck I would take it to a professional mechanic or the Nissan dealer and have them check it out. Otherwise run it and see if there are any issues
If you go this route let me know how it works. I have a Surface Pro, and love it but have not found a good mapping app for. The windows part and the lack of GPS seems to be the issue. I am trying to get it to recognize my Garmin through Bluetooth but no luck yet
Since it is an Offroad the biggest one I can think of is the rear locker. Make sure the transfer case works, shifts 4 hi and 4 lo. When in 4 lo engage the rear locker the diff lock light should flash for a few seconds then turn solid. If it just continues to flash then it is not working
warrior short drum 9500
That link is for a Warrior winch 9500 Short Drum with Synthetic line. It only weights 46lbs!! According to my scale. Match that with an Aluminum bumper to hide it in and the front end should be under 110lbs. My Hefty Fab front Bumper in Aluminium is a claimed weight of...
That is to bad. When you are building up your ZR2 look into Warrior winches. I have one of their Competition winches with Synthetic line and it was less than you would think. It is a short drum option so it holds less line, but with winch line extensions I get the length I need when offroad, but...
Thanks I will.
Just got back from an epic weekend. Chased and led a few Toyota guys around my backyard. Hit some amazing trails, found some old mines, and enjoyed some laughs, beers and views with old and new friends.

I really like it. It has been very solid, and the step height into the bed in nice. I also use the side rub rails when accessing things on the Canopy. The rear hitch is a few inches taller then the factory so the departure angle is better then it was stock as well.
I am thinking of making some 3/8" aluminium plate into a roof rack like the Prinsu options for Tacomas. I want to try and making them fit into the stock roof rack mounting holes. Has anyone done this? Biggest issue I see is making the feet match the curve of the roof. If you have any experience...
