The M116A1 trailer is a good start with a stout frame. Do you have the cover and tall bows too?
The axle can be swapped out easy to a lighter one with a matching bolt pattern to your tow vehicle.
The Lunette can be turned over but I believe it has an indexing pin so it is either high or low.

I have wood bows that keep the water from pooling I also crank the tongue jack higher in the front while in the driveway.
The water runs off with no issues. Now if I could keep the birds from crapping all over it I would be fine.

What color combo are you going with?
Are you going to build bigger fenders for more clearance or do a spring over?
I am cheap, I went with a vinyl cover with bungee cord. works well keeps the contents dry and has held up good.
