The many suprises in Charleville.
Day 7 Friday 31st July – Cullyamurra Waterhole to Charleville (~800 Km). Continued
We rolled into Charleville tired and hungry. We decided to “splurge” after the long day and rent a room for the night. We had read in our Lonely Planet guide book that the...

Day 7 Friday 31st July – Cullyamurra Waterhole to Charleville (~800 Km).
Like all good trips, we had now passed the half way mark and it was time to point the Landcruiser East once again retracing some of our previous tracks. A long day lay ahead so we were up, fed...
To put a bit of a twist on one of Homer Simpson's quotes:"hmmm ice cream the cause and solution to all life's problems...".
Very fun trip for some daughter and father bonding time. :sombrero:
I've just installed a National Luna dual battery kit in the Landcruiser and have heard the same "pop" sound. In my Tacoma I had the Sure Power isolator set up and it was mounted on the firewall. It's a preferance thing but that "pop" sound on start up (Sure Power combines as soon as it sees...
What about Armology?
Had a quick look but did not find any first gen Tacoma rear bumpers from Armology but I may have missed them. Does Armology make rear bars for that generation Tacoma?

Sadly it was time to leave Coognie Lakes behind. We packed up slowly making sure everything was stored in it's correct location in the Landcruiser. I paid special...
A few tid bits and more Coognie Lakes
Re-visiting the story to date I forgot a few points:
Using a fire to prepare your meals, just adds a certain element of of "je ne sais quoi" to your meals. The smoke infused bacon, eggs and toast were one of the best ways to kick off the day. Martha...
Great thread and pictures! Nice to read and see the different trip report styles.

Lockers are in and so are the new rear ring and pinion.
Last night was just a quick post to provide an update on the cruiser. Now for the full story.
ARB had an excellent promotion on their ARB Air Compressor (CKMA12), Tire Inflation Kit, Tire Repair Kit, Front and Rear Locker. I'd been...
3 little buttons, is all it took...
Well I've just picked up the Landcruiser from ARB today. There was a promotion that was too hard to pass up on Front and Rear Air Lockers. Just a few additional buttons...
Now if I worked at this place, I would never get anything done...
They have a...
