First things I look at are suspension upgrades, then tires for your area what you will be suing it for , then skids/ rock rails for body / engine/ trans etc protection Then start using it to see what else maybe needed along the way

Aren't most all bumpers mounted to various parts of the frame as well ? See people pulling with them all of the time I can see your point, but mine is attached to a bumper that is attached to the frame with 8 bolts Its well over 24 inches off the ground and close enough to the bumper that...

Interesting comment, have used mine a lot to pull others out of snow, mud etc, even pulled a log out of the woods with it. Works good IMO

Hockey pucks are great bumpstops as well Keep 8 or 10 already drilled ready to install all the time

Are you talking about wheel spacers to sit the wheel out more? Generally when we lift one ( done over 35 KJs ) we have them go to a 4 inch backspaced wheel 7 inches wide or some use the 1.25 inch spacers to move the wheel out farther
