Weldtec Design 2WD Bent I-Beam Lift for E350 (E series vans)

So what would be the cost of having a "driveable " ujoint equipped van if you found decent prices on a front diff and then lift parts, building one step at a time. Of course I know it would be more than the Weldtec kit of course but also knowing it would be better in the long run if you are...

    Taller tires / gearing question

Interesting answers, I always regear when going to larger tires to keep the engine in the area they most like to run. Pays for itself usually in 50,000 or less miles with less wear and tear on the engine and transmission. Of course i build all of mine to last a long time since i never trade /...

Let's discuss offroad adventure and "Gucci" vehicles

I find the term "Gucci" interesting in comparing vehicles I'd like to see real world costs on a full blown rock buggy and some of the builds on here that people take round the world. I'm sure there is not that much difference. Which do you get the most enjoyment out of? Depends on the person...

    Smallest four-wheeled expedition vehicle?

My wifes 2 door Rav 4 that she has in Tanzania is as small as I would want to go! It surprised me a few times where we were able to take it though. Her Father got out twice on one road afraid to ride along :) Even rocks a Expedition Portal decal on the back glass

    UJOR Build Thread

This is what I am going for here real soon. If it were just me I'd go higher but wife doesn't want that much lift. I think she is afraid she won't be able to crawl up in it !:) So are 265-75-16s the biggest tire you can do with 4 inches of lift, or do 33s or so fit? Also another question, how...
